Had two very relaxing days! Yesterday, we spent the day lounging around our cabin before going to a Rasul spa treatment. Rasul was very relaxing, had 50 minutes in a private suite equipped with a steam room and full body shower, and all sorts of sea salts, algae body masks and the like. Went back to our cabin after that and continued a very lazy day. Went to the main dining, then on to a game show ala Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Jason went up, and lost after his first question was to name the color of the middle top ring in the Olympics symbol. Who knew it was black. Even polled the audience and even they didn’t know. Punta del Este and Sea Day #1

We had an awesome day Wednesday - went on a city tour of Punta del Este, saw the major sites including their lighthouse and beaches. Our tour concluded by spending about three hours at the Siglio XX Estancia. The ranch has some interesting history, the previous owners of the ranch collected antiques that were displayed there. The new owner’s hobby is alpacas, so there is a large alpaca farm there now. He is a retired manager of Gillette Mexico, Spain, Latin America, etc. Spends 6 months of the year in Miami and the other 6 at his estancia in Montevideo - that’s the life, huh? Sitting in port in Montevideo, Uruguay. Our ship is just about to set sail for Punta Del Este, Uruguay. Beautiful little city, spent the afternoon walking around the historic district. Had a great lunch at a coffee shop that has been unchanged since 1870! We finished our Sunday night with dinner at an authentic Buenos Aires steakhouse that's been around since 1920, El Establo. On Monday, went on a seven our sightseeing and shopping tour. Finished our night on the ship. Great food in the main dining room - Jay had a pork tenderloin and Jason a lamb osso bucco.
