As we weren't flying until 7pm the first day was mostly the last minute preparation of bags, house, James' car and self-grooming! When we finally got under way we were with the business crowd down to Heathrow. After a short transfer to terminal 3 we were on the plane for the 11 hour journey to Bangkok. While I was able to get a good few hours of sleep, James struggled and only managed an hour or so. The final hurrah was the young child sat next to me throwing up on the pull down table while his father was at the toilet, cue frantic towel mopping and trying to rouse his mother!
