Tierra Hermosa Rescue Center was created to: Provide a safe environment for rehabilitation, and when appropriate, release of animals confiscated from poachers and illegal captivity. The reserve is located on 4.3 hectares (11acres) of mixed undisturbed and regenerating lowland rain forest in the Sarapiqui region of Costa Rica.
