Bus Travel? Take the high road & fly! What a trip! Your photos and descriptions are incredible. Next time you want a (real) luxury coach trip to an Indian site, take the bus from Philly to Atlantic City’s “Taj Mahal”. Trump may even pitch in a few quarters as an incentive. I hope you’ve warmed up by now, and recovered enough to enjoy the rest of your trip. Can’t wait to see you in LA. Love you and miss you.
Speaking of tears . . . So, I have worked >100 hours in the last 7 days and now I get a short break, which I spent the last little bit of catching up on your blogs. First of all, Congratulations on your engagement! You two are amazing.
It is so wonderful to get a glimpse into your psyche through these messages and pictures. It is obvious how much this trip has touched you both. I have always heard that "India changes you", by all of my friends who have visited it. And from reading your messages, I can tell how much growth and perspective you have gained through these travels. Sorry to be such a sap - I'll blame it on being on overworked and overtired, but I read your messages in reverse chronological order and have had tears welling up in my eyes with awe of your trip and envy of the growth from travel and excitement about your engagement, etc. You guys are awesome. Travel strong.
Broken Heart The picture of Addy broke my heart. Bitter cold - no recourse - closer to part of the heart of India? The picture is in and of itself timeless........ Love you both. Remember your promise son. See you soon.
Happy Birthday To Us What a wonderful email - lots of thought going on for you both on the trip~ What a wonderful experience. Jack took Zaydie, Mom, Dad and Jon Jon and I to Colemans Farm for brunch for my birthday and moms!
How nice. Just to have Zaydie there along with our family. We missed our brother but Christmas is such a busy time for him. Mom and I are all busy with our christian friends/family running from one house to another to share years of celebrations together. We miss you and I wanted to wish you both a happy healthy new year and most of all safe travels home! I know we all can't wait to hear about the engagement first hand and the extensive stories about the travels. Watch out for those monkeys - I hear they are really smart and Mike they are after you - You know me I would sneak one home. I have visited many countries and thanks to you I now feel I have seen all of India. Enjoy - Love to you both Aunt Ina
Greetings! Hi guys, wanted to touch base and say Happy Hanukah late and Merry Christmas early! Also though I gushed all over Adrianne on your announcement I wanted to say how happy I am Michael. Though we haven't met yet, I'm so glad you make Adrianne happy and anybody who's been a clown and loves magic sounds like a great guy to me. Can't wait to actually meet you! Love to you both, Sharon
rock it thanks for the photos you guys...it's pretty cool how each country, each place, has its own version of another but is so so so different. those caves you saw are so amazingly unique yet are 'replicated' in other cultures in varying formations and versions--like cambodia's angkor wat or new mexico's Bandelier....it is a refreshing reminder that no matter where we came from and no matter who we were, we all had the urge to carve our way into a rock and proclaim our presence. have we lost that creative ambition? why is it so hard to finish anything now that we have TOOLS??!!
life is freakin great! happy hannukah! p.s. i saw josh and julie today--they are cute and totally snowed in at their new house! love to you both from the blizzard New Mex!
Your Trip Seems to Get Better By the Minute What will I read when you get back. Everyday I look so forward to your emails and Zaydie to. So happy your trip is getting better by the minute. We miss you and keep the emails coming! Love you and Happy New Year if I don't get to email again!! Love, Aunt Ina
aaaahhhhhh.... I totally understand that feeling of finding a place that feels comfy--art and good coffee are amazing soothers of a weary traveller. In our travels, Acazia and I found those type of places to be the most relaxed locations--but ALSO the most open + educational--I think that perhaps the attention TO and appreciation OF slowing down and stillness lends itself to a reflexiveness that can do nothing but good...or maybe it's just late and i've had too many tequilas. : )
yo mike Hey Mike congrats on the engagement...you guys looks like you belong together in the pictures...and i dun say that bout everyone. I'm very happy for you two. Let's hang out sometime and catch up! Hav fun out there, be safe. have a merry christmas...yer not jewish are you? well if you are then merry christmas anyway! and happy new year.

The tears are making it hard to type. :( I am so incredibly happy for you both (as I have already mentioned in my email and voice mail.) :) I'm glad your trip is going so well. You caught me off guard this morning - I wasn't prepared for onslaught of wonderful feelings and thoughts your engagement brings to mind. Congratulations!
Much Love!
Pat
foreshadowing??!! Why all the foreshadowing if it already has happened...
The leeches scene sounds creepy. but did you see any tigers? Nothing about tigers...
OH Yeah!!! Congradulations guys I am so happy for you both...
I was wondering when it would happen. I know it was a special moment and hope you all have many of those in you lives together.
To the betrothed... Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O, no! it is an ever-fixed mark,
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
CONGRATS! Wow, Congratulations to both of you!!!!!!! You are so blessed already with many more wishes for your continued journey as one! Dorf, you've come a long way baby!!!!
A Dream Come True... Dear, sweet kids. We are so happy for you both, and for US! Our family welcomes Adrianne as your fiancé, and soon-to-be wife with a feeling of awesome delight. The devotion and harmony between you is obvious. Your "road trips" have just begun, and may your travels be enjoyable, productive, and enriching, throughout. We love you so much, and can't wait to see you. Stay well, safe and take care of each other, always. Love, hugs & kisses, Mom & Dad
