Love It! I've been waiting for a blog for a long time now and I'm super impressed with the video's you've made! They're awsome! and such a great way to chronicle your travels
Great work guys! Really impressed with what you've put together with a point and shoot digital camera - also brought back memories for me - I'm I stayed in that room with the spiders in Laos!
Love the videos Hi, I've watched all the videos and love them! My wife and I are getting ready to leave on our round the world trip (Jan 2008) and I wanted to do something like this too.
These videos are inspiring!
So that's where you've been! We'd been checking in on you to see what you'd been up to since Pushkar! What an excellent experience - we'll look for you on the silver screen!
Long way from the Rockin' 22 What fun to read of your Bollywood adventure - sounds like you were caught in a time warp of Fantasy Island with the celluloid continually being spliced and respliced. So how did the cello figure in? Keep it coming.
Wow! What a wonderful experience and great story. You travel clear across the world to become extras on a movie set. Amazing! Continue having fun and writing about your travels. I sure am enjoying reading your blog.
Welcome to Bollywood!!! I have been reading this adventure with great enthusiasm! This is a story of a lifetime, great you guys got to experience it! We'll be following the next adventure! www.mytb.org/two4deroad
That is so amazing. I wish I could have had an experience like that--I have always wanted to go take part in the Holi festival. What is that powder made of?
Fabulous! We finally logged on. How wonderfully you have captured the color, the passion and charm of India. It seems simultaneously calm and frenzied. Never having visited we love the photos and descriptions. It feels as if we are there, thank you!. I am eager to see your Taj Mahal photos. Sherry
hahaha... sorry about laughing... :D I enjoyed your journal a looooottt! Obviously, you had a great time...glad to hear it. Hope you'll enjoy the rest of your journey, aswell....

prince charming Hmmm, perhaps Jenny has already met and is traveling with her prince! As usual, great photos and story that allow us arm chair travelers to enjoy your trip with out the hardships!
county folk Beautiful photo, very touching - maybe it's the grandmother in me. I loved Rajasthan (the shopping) was the best - even for a non shopper like me.
Happy trails! :o) It's soooooo good to hear back from you guys again! I can't tell you how I missed your blog! Looking forward to following you guys on your journeys again! Welcome back!
Rajasthan Lucky you. two! I loved India . . . a confusion of color, wealth, poverty, and people. I don't know if I will ever get my experience all sorted out. Fight the tourists and see the Taj, you won’t regret it and not from there is RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK. We saw three Bengal tigers. It took several outings, but the country is beautiful and the tourists quite interesting themselves. Be safe and travel well.
welcome back & bon Voyage! Great to see you two back. One of my other subscriptions has just come home and so I'm happy to switch to hearing of your travels! I shall be leaving for Argentina next week myself...(eek can't believe it!). i hope you can make it to Varanasi and to Jaiselmer on a camel safari....I was in India this time last year too.
From the W. PA Strachan, Jane Hi Jenny and Randy from a chilly spot in PA: Eleanor told me the blog is up again. How I enjoy reading about your experiences. Jane Strachan Oleksak
Dui island has beer Gujurat might be a no beer zone but Dui island isn't - and it's cheap too. I tried to do the 10k steps up Ginar but the weather was too bad. I did a rehersal of 3k the afternoon before - no probs, but at 6am the next morning I got to about 4k and the weather was awful (rainy and cold hint: lots of water and warmer clothes than you'd think). Have fun.
Just when it felt like everyone was getting married and buying a house, we quit our jobs, bought one-way tickets to Africa, and squeezed our lives into the smallest packs known to any Army surplus store. Friends and family offer predictions from "the best time of your lives" to "the beginning of your rapid descent into poverty." Lucky for us, they're not mutually exclusive.
And so, armed only with humility, humor, and a big can of DEET, we're off to the land of goatmilk and honeywine. We hope to meet some friendly faces, learn about the *other* Africa beyond the headlines, and fumble our wa... full info
