Nice to hear from you again. Still at it I hear. I came back from a 3month trip to Taiwan and Indonesia just a month ago but am headed for India, the Andaman Islands and Sri Lanka again next week. No sense hanging around in this miserable climate any longer. Met several nice friends in Lombok and Sulawesi. Hopefully that happens again in India...

You took the words out of my mouth (if I'd have the talent to write them)
Hi Hanna, A beautifully written account of our week at the ENP. I am already planning my return and I will be lucky to have such a nice group of people with me the second time around. I adopted Jokia and have to go back to see how she is doing. I fell in love with the way that old blind elephant coped with her life and the way her protector Mae Perm cared for her, soothed her when she was afraid or startled and was just simple the perfect elephant version of a best friend. Those giants were so intelligent and gentle. Drop by Australia some day and I'll show you the sights. Jenny

Adventures in Uruguay
Thank you so much for a great blog! We're going to Montevideo later in the year. In preparation, I'm reading other people's blogs about Uruguay - yours is the best - I learned a lot! About Rio: Guapo (who grew up in Montevideo) says make sure you don't dress like you have money ... have a safe trip! Guapita (Guapo and Guapita's pre-departure blog is called Destination Uruguay)

Your are the best writter!
Hi Hanna, Welcome to Buenos Aires and our 32 Celsius your story was amazing!!! First your introduction and the days in Ushuaia looking for a ship, how complicated and expensive is a trip to Antartica. Also was very interesting the mid-size icebreaker (from Russia) that you selected. Drake shake superb!!! People who visited the Antartica tell it is one of the most fascinating experiencies they lived, reading your trip one start to understand why!

Awesome place
It really does sound like an amazing place, and the photos make me so envious. As it happens, I had origninally planned to be on the same voyage as you took ... and by the look of your boarding pass, the exact same cabin. I ended up cutting my trip short but reading your descriptions have made me even more determined to go there. Thanks for sharing your trip and we'll wait for the second part. Nick Evans.

HAVE FUN ! :))))
Just so lovely to read your blog... Have a FANTASTIC adventure. As you only have an hour before 'anchors away' I hope you see this - but maybe not. The sea is certainly fickle - I was brought up on a boat - my dad was a chief engineer, merchant navy - so... well so. Have a whale of a time - haha - bad pun! But I can't tell you how much I think you will love this. Happy - happy - with extra happy bits on top - Happy Christmas Han xxx
