This was so great to read Will (as are all of your entries.. this was especially well written though!) It sounds as if your having an amazing life changing experience... keep going hard! I know I am one of many people praying for you and the work you guys are doing. - Laura
Snow storm Hi Wil: Just read your latest blog-- what a lot of stories you will be able to tell when we get you home. We had a big snow storm last night and freezing ,and Jay is out chopping the ice off the driveway. And out in Victoria Thom says the trees are in blossom.. What a country we have? And you say " I don't wanna go home" -- we want u HOme !!!!!! Keep well and happy and may your days continue to challenge you and give you a sense of contributing to your work..
Lots of love and blessings. Grammie and Grandpa Jay.
wow... gee .. it sounds like you go to alot of places and have much experience . well i am thinking about going to africa for about a month and it would be great if you, or some one else could tell me a great place to visit there
Wow. George is very right and thank you for passing on the warning. It is extremely easy to become numb and think to "weep for the children" but never actually weep. And it is also very easy to become used to easy living and forget to be thankful for the privilege we have been given. I feel inspired to go out and do. Thanks Will!

silence Will: good reflections. Check out I Kings 19:10-14. God was found not in the hurricane, earthquake or fire, but in three Hebrew words, translated: noise- silent- tiny (a whisper). North americans often have trouble hearing, likely need more blackouts.

Tears don't help. Hi will,
i am a colleague of your parents. they have been sharing your experiences with me. What a fabulous opportunity you are living. I did simialr work in Costa Rica and some in Haiti. From my limited experience I found that tears do not motivate us to act. The poor don't want us to cry for them, they want us to walk along side of them and share their experience. The return home is where the dilemma lays. Our culture is so strong that it is next to impossible to live the life you have come to know and love. The biggest challenge is to find ways to change the way we live here so as to positively affect the misery in our world. The poor have much to offer us in how to live an authentic life but those living in misery need our help.
My 2 cents!!

deeply moved Dear Will: We were so deeply moved when we finished reading this. You reached into our very souls and we sat quietly for a few moments before we wereable to share some thoughts about what you had shared. May you continue
having the sensitivity to your mission in the Congo that you feel today.Don't ever forget the "feeling"We hope we can have some good discussion times when you get home.
Lovingly, Grandma and Grandpa

Crushed many of those on my Zambian journeys.
Can't believe that guy tried to get 10 pin from you.
Get in Congo already.
Nice Hey Will
It sounds great not sure you should be letting Helen in on things like allergic reactions to foreign bugs. Skied at Rogers Pass and thought of you. Waist deep chowder it was sweet. Skied a sluff because I was pushing so much snow. Met up with Will Woods, and Todd. Peace

Great to hear how you are doing and how this is shaping you. I can't wait to hear about how you have seen God and where he was the most present. I went skiing it was stinking cold, but alright. Finished my practicum with grade 3s in Sundre it was great.

I always knew there were other Jerry Marxes in the world - 160 in the rain, eh?
Some good looking headbands in the mix there, too - I'm sticking to hats right now. Hope you're doing well, bru.
That is so cool that you'll be doing stories and pics on the CRC. Although i would imagine it could get sketchy at times. If you get any good ones, you should post them up. I've liked hearing about your adventures by the way.
