It's about time! Hard to live vicariously through you if you don't share your experiences very often :-)
Love you both and can't wait to see in LESS THAN A MONTH!!! Mom

Well Hello, HELLO!!! Wow, I cannot believe this is happening for you guys! How AMAZING! Just reading your blog brings me back to such a place and feeling. Can you believe you get to spend one whole year there?!?!?!....unfortunately, I think it will fly by! Can't wait to read more and more and more on all your fun experiences!
hmmm, didn't I already do this? Ok, so I guess I wasn't ther first comment...oh well. Nick and I toasted your trip while you guys were flying (we weren't stayng up until 2am) and each had a shot of the lemoncello in a salute to you guys heading out. Congrats!
1st post Did I really get the first comment post on your blog? :-)
I'm glad to see that you guys made it there safe and sound. Enjoy it there. Not much else to say since I haven't read the 2nd blog yet, just got the email. So I am going to go do that now.

I think the first time we were in Italy we were so busy that we didn't have time to not be adjusted to the time zone!! I love that you brought friends!!! But what about greys?!? :) love you!!
Good Luck! Good luck with your year abroad! Italy is such a lovely country :0) If you get the chance to, visit the Tuscany and Dolomites regions of the country :0) I am off to Australia at the end of the year, I have my visa and can't wait!!
Enjoy the experience and have fun :0)

Yeah!!!! Glad to hear you guys made it to paradise safely!!! Nate and I will be following your blog, but we may need to set aside some extra time to read it if you keep writing a novel every time! :) JK, we both know you could go on forever and it will be AWESOME to read about your time overseas! Enjoy your first week and hope to hear from you guys soon! ~Rachel and Nate~
Wow!! What a super time you have had already in the first hours. It should only get better. I spent a few days in Rome - long before you guys were born - and it was great. We only had to be careful where we stepped on the sidewalk - public urinals that emptied onto the street and sidewalk!!!! Oh well, it was still the best. Jan
My husband, Phil, and I are currently spending a year abroad in Florence, Italy. We are originally from Minnesota and have had the urge to live abroad since our studies in Florence in 2006. We just arrived yesterday and are excited to start the journey! Please follow along, comment, and feel free to contact us with any questions - we'd love to hear from you!... full info
