26 days to explore a small part of Iran, somewhere that I have wanted to go for a long time. A perfect excuse was a big impending birthday. What started as a standard "see the usual sights" trip has evolved to a lot of trekking- surprise, surprise! I'm now making my way through various terrains- mountains (Mt Tochal, Mt Damavand), desert (Dasht-e Kavir) and valleys (Central Alborz Range) along with time in the big cities of Tehran, Shiraz, Esfahan and Yazd and some smaller ones- Kashan, Abyaneh and Deh Mord. VERY excited!
