Bravo Hey there Jenny--just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your page. I spent my spring semester in 2000 in Gaming with FUS, and traveled to many of the same places you did. It was wonderful, and I was getting all kinds of nostalgic today from looking at your photos. Well done!
Take care :)

Divine Mery I had been to this shrine last Dec 6, 2006. The church is so beautiful, the only religious figure you will see there is the painting of our lord, which is the center of the church, on the left side of the church is a painting of the Madonna. The tabernacle is also unique, it is globe shaped.
I've also noticed on my way out of the church is like a marker with a little stone inbedded on it incased in a glass, I found out it was a small piece of rock from the 'CAVE OF NATIVITY' where Jesus was born.
On the sister's convent, is a painting of the Divine Mercy, this is not the original one, but it is in this spot that our Lord appeared.I've never dreamed that one day I would be stepping on this shrine .
hello hi, i really like the story of the Black Madonna. the way you've written it makes it sound very interesting, and it is refreshing to hear some real history to go with the pics. - Dominika
Your Auschwitz Jenny, As I read "Your Auschwitz" you gave me the chance to feel the emotions you were feeling through your written words. As I took the journey via your experience my eyes began to well with tears, not because of the horror of what happened there, as horrible as it was, but because of your deep compassion and ability to express your experience in words so vividly. You are truly blessed and gifted. Press on. lol dad
