The first thing you notice about india that's different is (a) the driving, and (b) cows on the road. Driving: rules are made to be broken, and if there's not enough money to enforce the rules, then why not break them? Amazingly, i haven't seen an accident yet! ... except in Pushkar where a motor scooter ran over a lady's toes. And i've been told that cows love to sit in the middle of the road or on the median strip because it's cooler there ... how smart is that? All those passing cars generating a nice breeze!
