Newly retired and have always traveled over this nation of ours, and have fallen in love with my country. I was to see all of it before it is gone, and with the world in turmoil we don't have any assurances that what we see now will be around 50 years from now.

Finally here and able to enjoy a full day of enjoying the Island and discovering its points of interest and the neighborhoods throughout the different cities. This is a large island with lots to see, from Victoria to Sydney and everything in between. This is a beautiful green country with a people who seem pleased with themselves and you know you got to admit, I would be pleased also. Other then the high cost of everything, it was still worth every penny paid.... read more

We left the conference on the your to the trip that we would never take but decided at the last moment that this was a chance in a lifetime, but who knows how many lifetimes we have. It was a decision that we made with gusto and once on the road there was no stopping us. As you view the pictures you will understand why we approached it was such energy. We spent the night in Florence, Oregon. It had been a full day of driving and we decided to spend the night in florence and watch the fireworks that night.
