home again! Hey hun, Well, I guess you are officially back in Victoria today. Wow, those 3 months have gone by fast. And you have done so much!! I'm jealous of how much you have been able to fit into that short a period of time. England is quite expensive and involves a lot of saving and much slower travelling. But it will happen eventually! Hope you have a blast back home!
going to miss the entries.... Seems that three months has flown by. Soak up your last few days for ...this adventure. There will be more from other exotic parts of the world.
Better get used to making entries again after a recoup and some expense money! Everyone has enjoyed the views and impressions of your travels.
See ya Thursday when I get back from work. I've been on an extented three month cheap sea cruise , three hours a day!! Oh ya thats for work..
Will be waiting to hear your animated stories in person.
sketchy..yes!! didn't really like reading that stuff but i guess you have been pretty lucky. enjoy your last few days..by yourself some good momento's and i will see you on the 5th...by..mom
Howdy Deryn,
You sure made me appreciate how awesome my school bus is....i don't know if i could handle a 'chicken bus'. And I thought the greyhound made for an interesting trip!!
love ya,
Charley
two more weeks. Your travels are so exciting. You are keeping us armchair travelers back home quite happy reading all about your travels. So glad you are enjoying everything so much, it all sounds very idyllic. Hope you have a picture of the garden to share when you are back, really looking forward to seeing you. See you soon.
decisions... now that it is almost time to come home, even i am panicking about what you will miss doing/seeing, and what will you do with your time...but i will be quite glad to see you...did you get your "record" picture yet? please do so we can send it in! what an adventure..next time, maybe i will go...? love you..m
too beautiful Pictures are a nice addition to you blogs.. it is beautiful and I can see why you do not want to come home. We will like seeing you though and look forward to hearing about your adventures and seeing all you pictures.
the voice was best Everything looks so idealyic. I wish people dressed here with all that colour. There are many that would not be comfortable,,with being in water ,wet, cold , dark( pitch dark) and BATS. Sounds like some sort of odd therapy to me!!
Your voice was the best this morning. The sound of your voice matched your smiles I see. Be good, keep smiling, it's the best ice breaker on earth. See you so soon >>matt
Hi Your Dad sent me the link, looks fantastic over there, keep inputting, and I know its a pain but us people who never go any where like to look at forgien lands, ha ah. Take care!
pics are worth a 1000 words ,,finally some pics to add to the commentary>>>and to see you too!
all looks so inviting,,except the bugs, rain, crabs, and dirt floors.
just kidding,,it all looks great, especially your big smiles..
Yeah Guatemala! Hey muffin, yeah I've heard that Belize is outrageously expensive, it's probably good you're moving on when you are. I think Guatemala will be good, from the way my uncle describes it. It's good you're going with Dean because their political situation can be dicey sometimes. Anyway keep on enjoying the ride, say hi to Dean for me, and stay safe! Hasta Luego (not really sure if that means see you later...)
wow, the adventures! My goodness it soudns lik eyou are having a fantiastic time! Maybe not in the rich part but in all the rest. It is crazy how you can get used to the friendliness and everything else of the poorer parts of countires and then actually prefer it! We are in a pretty well to do part of Cambridge, England, where houses are still much smaller than in Canada but you pay far more for rent. But when we're trying to find work we have to go where it is I guess. it's beautiful though, which an extra bed too...hinthint. I'd love ot be where you are too..one day! Check out our blog too at www.eric-mel.blogspot.com and have fun, as I know you will!
instructor ticket? how much / time/ dollars,, to get through to instructors ticket? maybe stop and get more certification as you travel along?..
Be careful, learn to take a methodical approach. Safety first. Fun comes next..,,good start..now the kayak tickets,,
JEALOUS! I adore Utila! Everyone meandering around in flip-flops or barefoot... the cute little old people in golf carts... french wine at Mango's... frozen drinks at the Treetop bar... mmmm... perfect.
Enjoy!!!
Oh man! Waiting is the worst thing ever! I so want to be there. Heard al ot about the Bay islands and the magic there are surrounded by, looks like you are experiencing al of it. Thank u for the updates. They inspire me. Great descriptions. You're a trooper.
Small world eh??? Wow does that sound Canadian...well dear, we just are in the process of getting OVER part one of Braden's grad - tonite is the party (hmmm - we were dancing and partying until 4 this morning, but that wasn't THE party). Anyway - hope you are still having a great time and staying safe (wow does that sound old). Whitney is staying with me in Youngstown for the summer and working - hard too - so we go to see Gram weekly - Aunty Lee has a better memory than me so she printed off your blogs and gave them to Gram to read, she really enjoyed them. Anyway - just wanted to say hi and tell you we all love you...

been dreamin.. The Bay islands have backback hostels to 5Star. The sea is full of new and exotic creatures, Colours, plants and corral. A hammock at the seaside for a traditional siesta sounds right up my alley. I quess I've been dreamin...or?..maybe your writing is telling what I need to know to go from dreamin,,to doin,, I like the sounds and smells of the markets. The pure people energy. The kids with smiles. Keep up the blog with the feel for the people and the land they live in...matt
Green I am sooo jealous. I would love to see what you are seeing. All the 'you're beautifuls' and "...i'm used to it.." Had to laugh out loud. That's what I think about you everytime I think of you or read you fantastic writing. You have to be a travel writer, it calls your name, Deryn. Lots of happy thought to you.

hotness Just wait till the rain comes! It will be heaven, but once it stops it will be worse than before it came! I'm so jealous, sounds like you are having an incredible time. Enjoy yourself. Dean sounds super stoked to go travel with you. Maybe I'll join you both!! haha, I wish. Enjoy!
Well I finished my degree last summer and tried out the working thing for a while. I quickly discovered that I´m not really into the whole working scene just yet. What better time to go on a little three month vacation? So here I am in Costa Rica, the first country on my trip up to Mexico. I´m travelling on my own, trying to learn Spanish, perfect surfing, meet some people, relax, see some monkeys and Mayan ruins, among many other things. You can´t ask for much more can you? I´d have to say it´s going pretty great so far, so I´ll see you all soon...if I decide to come back :)... full info
