Binh We just had Mr Binh on our tour of the tunnels. He was certainly a character. He does have his tour schtick honed down. Hope he finishes his book some day.
WOW! Not having to pay for a tip when you're eating dinner with a Ho, even when you're getting Helmut on a motorbike like Cam'ron or something... Nam is AMAZING!!!! My man Hoang and his sister Chi are very happy that you are having a good time in their home country! Recuerdos los zapatos Jordan por favor.
MTV Cribs Did they have a poster of Scarface?
I'm glad you are meeting nice people alone the way---You are a great person to know too, so I think you both won!
Take care!
J
Making shit interesting Honey, everything sounds so painful...but why am I laughing so hard? I am glad you didn’t left your sense of humor in the Toilet.
Take care, can't wait for your return!
J
Nice You should write for Fromer's or some other travel guide, the "Ass-Bile Division." What a great story about Nam. All I knew about it before reading this was what went on with the French, the 1950's-70's US stint, some junk from Fulton school and Quang restuarant. Thanks for enlightening me about your constant discharge of liquids. Keep up te good work. Jordans!!!
'Nam Hey Dylan,
Not sure how long you have in Vietnam, but if you have time I recommend heading up the coast to Hue (far). It's a fairly small city right near the DMZ so there's lots of war history there as well. Had the best view of authentic Vietnamese rural/village life from the back of a motorbike. If you make it there, go to "Cafe on Tu Wheels" and the feisty cafe owner and her brothers will sort you out!
200 Beans $200 to have someone killed!?!?! Give that guy my e-mail and Lars is as good as dead! Please get me as many pairs of Jordans as you can little dude! Sicko is sick-oh! You owe me $9.25 for seeing it. I hope you enjoy Bastille day while in Nam. They should love it. While in Nam, try to remember the days of motorboating through "Nam" on the chain of Lakes! Also remember the Jordans! Size 10. I too dabbled in pacifism, not in Nam of course.
terrible Hi Dylan,
Isn't that place terrible. I could not shake it for awhile either. Did you happen to see the tree where they would take little babies and throw them at it to kill them. That was etched in my memory forever. At least they have Angkor Wat to make you appreciate the place!
Hope you are having fun...I am very jealous!
Being a Dad That's it Dylan Quirt your grounded! The world is too dangerous to be out in it. Report to your closet where you'll be safely locked away.
Love Dad
