Doug's Nordic Pilgrimage 2018 - St Olavsleden

I will be walking solo across Sweden and Norway on the St Olavsleden route. This starts in Sweden at Selangor, where Olav Haraldson landed in 1030 to start his campaign to relaim the Norse crown. The route follows the line of the march of his army to Sticlestad in Norway, where Olav was killed in battle. From there I will walk south to Trondheim, were Olav was buried. I hope to arrive for Olsok, the celebration of St Olav's feast day, and be joined by Elaine, and enjoy some of the Olavsfestdagene (St Olav's Festival) events.
