Harry took us around the local market today, where the Cambodians buy all of their food and other goods. It started off really nicely, we tried some lovely tapioca sweets breads, which tasted like doughnuts. We also tried lots of different fruits, they were all delicious - I love the way they arrange everything, such a rich array of colours. However, as we walked further into the market the sights got harder to bear. At first there was dried fish, which led to live fish jumping around. Then it got worse... Fish still moving even though they had been cut in half and their intestines were spread across the floor. Live chickens were sat next to their chopped up friends.
