The Traveling Tiara

Traipsing around the globe in stilettos and a boa wearing a tiara, has often times proven to be a conversation starter (but honestly you never know when you might need to curtsy to the Queen or go to a State Dinner). When I told my friends I was going to write about our adventures, they wanted to know if I was going to post the story about setting off the fire alarm at Browns in London, getting soaked to the skin in Tahiti and realizing our clothes were transparent or ordering a cot at the Dorchester and coming back to a baby crib (shudder)….it may sound as if alcohol were involved in all of these events, but truth be told, not all! I promised them that regardless of the story I would withhold their names to protect the not so innocent! The only question at this point is where to start….I am Northern California Girl who grew up dreaming of meeting war hero's at Gettysburg, arguing with the founding fathers in Boston and wandering the windswept Scottish Highlands looking for witches....I have spent my adult years looking for all of them and many others in all sorts of far flung locations. 2020 travels will include a different cast of characters as this time I am bringing along "The Marine" for a year of adventure that will take us anywhere that the wind blows.
