Long time no blog! Hello to all our friends and family! It’s been a while since we’ve been able to put fingers to a keyboard, but finally we can reflect on the past few weeks as we have now made it over the halfway mark of this incredible journey. After our amazing experience in Uganda - trekking to the gorillas, volunteering painting a primary school and seeing the source of the Nile River - we returned back to Kenya to get our Safari on! We first visited Lake Nakuru National Park, which proved to be an incredible concentration of animals including black & white rhinos, plenty of baboons, water buffalo, impala, gazelle, hyenas, thousands of pink flamingos & pelicans, a pride of lions, warthogs, zebras and giraffe.
