Left Macchu Picchu for the last leg of the trip. Had 2 nights in Cuzco. Altitude 11,000 ft and then some. Found the highest irish pub in the world here. Had a tour of the city and participated in an Andean blessing of mother earth ceremony. Farewell dinner and a show.....said some goodbyes. All next day was travelling home.... read more

Arrived at Inca trail to take a 7 hour walk into maccu Picchu. A really testing walk at altitude. Scenery was magnificent. The view and the experience of splendour when I arrived at the Sun Gate was outstanding.More of anything....more bloody steps!... read more
