Prescott is pretty cool. The weather generally is nice. It rains a lot, but that's what you get for living in Arizona and being there during monsoon season. Overall, it's just a nice town to stop through if it's on your way somewhere. You don't have to go out of your way to go and visit though. Show Low is near Pine Top. It's most known for being near the Sunrise Ski Park. If you go in winter you'll definitely see snow. That's great for me because you hardly get snow in Tucson. The town is nice. The area is a reservation. The ski resort is run by the people who live on the reservation. I'll give Sunrise credit. They do have good skiing. The Petrified Forest is nice. It's cool to look at all the ... read more

North America » United States » Georgia » Columbus November 24th 2008

I've been to Georgia seveal times. Never to Atlanta which is totally amazing. Mostly to see family. Usually we stay in the Columbus area. I will tell you, it does rain a lot. But I love rain, so it was cool. There are so many different museums and opera houses and stuff. You can't be bored. Actually, in Columbus was the first time I had Texas Roadhouse and Smokey Bones. Both were great. Shopping is pretty good. It's like your usual, slightly smaller than a big city, city. They have the Marble Slab ice cream place too, which is a total bonus, because there is only one in the whole city I'm from. Columbus in general is really nice. Everyone is friendly. It's a nice place to stop.... read more

Alabama is...interesting. We drove through on our way to Georgia. We stopped in Birmingham to grab a bite to eat. It's pretty much like your average city. The food was good and the people were friendly. I'd stop there again if I was traveling somewhere where Birmingham was on the way. The traffic on the way out of Birmingham wasn't too great. We might have hit rush hour, but don't let that keep you form visiting Birmingham.... read more

North America » United States » California » Sacramento June 10th 2008

I had fun when I went to California. The last time I went was a while ago, but it was nice. Sacramento, to me, is not like San Francisco at all. The city itself is really nice. For the most part, on my last trip, we just checked out Old Sacramento. That part of Sacramento is so different. They have actually wooden sidewalks. It was pretty cool. We stopped by the California State Railroad Museum for a while. It was interesting. Not the best if you're a younger adult, but still interesting. There was plenty of unique stores and shops you could go into. I recommend just about any. You won't find many of the same anywhere else, so just stop by one even if you aren't going to buy anything. As far as restaurants go, ... read more
