Well started our trainging now, had a good day yesterday in lectures and then a mini adventure today to the korean folk village, amazing place! Its an area of Korea preserved and developed to keep a national heritage sight to how the country has developed. Went firstly for a guided tour, huge huge place, saw all the traditional huts, trees, cooking ways, and then on to the temples and the meaning of each section which can still be seen in all the korean temples today. The crafts were all demonstrated, the fan making, basketry, the use of the impements in cooking, traditional foods explained, a huge river walk, and sculpture park and then finally to the display centre to watch the local dancing, costumes and skills.
