Sunday the 14th, nicole´s mum dropped us off in auckland city so that we could go to my uncles house in stanmore bay. half hour out of the city and nicole realised she didn´t have her wallet. We freaked out, the wallet had all our access cards and money, finally got a hold of her mum and realised she had leftit in the car, pheww! Had a real good time in Stanmore bay, were really looked after in the lap of luxury. Had lots of drinks with my relo´s on the first night and then went and saw my grandad in the morning. In the afternoon on the 15th we jumped on the boat and went fishing. Unfortunately we have no stories of monsterous fish that we hauled in. Truth be told Coley caught the only ... read more

After the debacle that was our move, Aaron slept no worries but I spent all night worrying about the cats locked in the bathroom and freaking that it would flood on our first night since the rain was torrential. On waking and finding out that we thankfully wouldn't need to invest in a boat to get into town, we got the cats dropped off at the cattery in Coffs Harbour then went to the storage space to meet the moving truck. Our whole house is now neatly organised and in a safe place for storage until June... thanks heaps Carol! The rest of the week was spent doing not much. Had a big night on Saturday for Purdy & Tim's engagement party.. congratulations and we can't wait for the wedding :) ... read more

So the move didn't go to plan at all, I'm going to sum it up in point form or I'll write an essay! *Got up at 6am to pack up the bed and have breakfast (movers due some time between 7am and 10am) *Cats locked in the bedroom from this time so they can be fasted before going to the vet for sedation *Finished the last of the packing by 9am *10am.. no moving truck *10.30am.. Movers finally answer their phone, not the movers themselves of course but their boss who is located in Port Macquarie. He tells us they are stuck in traffic due to an accident. *11am.. no moving truck, no phone call from the movers & movers not answering my calls. We call the vet to move our appointment to 2pm. *12pm.. no ... read more
