WOW!! This trip proves how family means everything!! Can't wait to hear and see more!! Mesa panting hard from hunting rabbits in the heat-90 with humidity. Enjoy your cool weather!!
Just happened on to your blog, so read every day. Reminds me of my old visits. It's true you wonder if you will ever see dear relatives again. It's why I have kept in such close contact-don't lose their addresses
as I did with some. My half sister, Anna Lundh lives near Goteborg (Nolnlycke). Each place you've been is wonderful and beautiful. Loved the thriving flowers and all the good coffee parties with all the good pastries and all their good fish dishes. The Swedish potatoes are to die for-can't explain their different taste-maybe a little like yukon gold ones like we know. Have a ball and bring us back wonderful stories-be sure to keep a detailed journal-you otherwise will forget details. Thanks for sharing your experiences-I am reliving them daily. I am in the throngs of trying to get a nanny job in Sweden for the next whole year. Many details and hoops to jump through for Migrationverket. Trying for Goteborg, Lund, or Jonkoping. Still waiting to see if it will come to fruition. Have a continued wonderful trip! I'm really happy for anyone that can enjoy the great opportunity to visit their Swedish relatives. It is life-changing-especially for your children. Don't be surprised if they end up wanting to be students abroad! Loving thoughts and best wishes from your Swedish-American cousin, Marilyn
Happy Birthday, Alicia It is hard to believe you a 16. What a wonderful way to spend your birthday. I am really enjoying reading about all your adventures. I look forward to your next entry.
Mesa is doing great! It sounds like you are all having such a great time! Mesa is doing wonderful here. She is such a good dog! However, she won't do her major duties in our yard, so we are walking her a couple times a day. Good for everyone! Mom and Dad are going to keep Mesa next week and the week after, so no worries there. Keep having fun!
Woohoo! This is so cool! It will be fun to watch your progress. When you get back I'll have to show you my trip journal. Stories so similar to yours already, although, my journal technology is much more, what's the word? antiquated? Let's compare scrapbooks this fall! Good luck, be safe, but have great adventures! Love to you all! Sara
