Hi Jon and Sue
Sliding down sand dunes? It is something we did as kids on snowy hills. I would not venture a steep hill again. And there you are thoroughly enjoying your adventures and each other amd doing all sorts of things of which I am good as sure that you would nog have done that before you went to see the globe. Great fun all of that I am sure. Actually I am glas you missed the giant sting ray. They are quite dangerous Coromondel has the same feeling as Paradise.enjoy yourselves over there. Love from us all over here.
Yes Jon we like the new beard!!! Those horses looked good and especially the one with the little foal. Were they from near the racecourse?
Its just started to rain here this Saturday afternoon and its forecast for wall to wall sunshine tomorrow. Hope so cos I\'m flying. And I\'m taking Ali with me as well so it had better be good.
There are some long distances you are doing. Is Sue doing some driving as well? I hope so.
Yes we like your flower pictures but the sunsets and beach shots are really good.
So, how is the food generally? Can you get a good curry? Thats most important. We are going for one tonight so I pity Ali and the pilot tomorrow eh?!!!
Have a safe trip you two,
Cheers now.
Mike.
images Wow Jon I'm glad you remembered everything I taught you about taking pictures while I was at the marina!!. Your land/seascapes at really great. Just get the horizon level and you're there. What wonderful viz. I need some of that right now here for some flying I've got to do. Its warming up to melt the snow but its also very hazy.
Has you camera gone really tits up or is it just scraping a bit in side.?
When you get to the gas station blow it out with the airline. Might shift it.I know that even if you take all the precautions you can there will always be just one grain thats gets in somehow.
Good to hear Alex is looking after our future king down under. I bet they cant wait for yet another war to start to have a bit of real fun eh.
Well I've got work to do. Theres no hols here yet. Have a great time in the North island. I hear there are more people there than in the South. You must be fed up with all those sheep to talk to!!
Love to Sue and I hope her bites get better. Give her some anti hystamines.
Cheers mate.

your adventures Dear both
You seem to be enjoying yourselves thoroughly and the summer too.
Here it is winter but beautiful weather. It will be spring when you return and missed winter. It is snowing in Rome...
Who is actually looking after your house all this time?
We are looking forward to seeing you again back here. It won't be long now before you return to our part of the wordl. Keep well and (each other) happy whatever flies by!
Love Anne Elise

Hello Hi Mike, Thanks for keeping up to speed with the blog. Now approaching the 5.000.00 kl mark driving our little Ford Focus. All going well here, enjoying our last day on the South Island before catching the ferry at Picton and arriving in Wellington on Sunday eve ready to tour the North Island for 3 weeks.
Trust all is ok with you both and you are enjoying the Snow etc. I still have my shorts on and expect you to be wearing yours, ha ha.
All the best, Jon and Sue
Congratulations with your super time Dear Jono and Sue
You will have trouble fitting in to your UK life when you get back. What you are doing sounds super and also unreal. Look after yourselves and eacht other
Much love Anne Elise
Hello Thankyou for your comment on the blog. Hope you enjoy reading the articles. We are now over half way through our travels and are about to arrive on the North Island of NZ for 3 wks. Hope the weather in Holland is not to bad. I saw on the news the canals were freezing over so maybe some skating for you all? Please pass on our love and best wishes to all,
Lots of love, Jon and Sue
Catching up Hi Jon and Sue,
Well I've only just managed to get your blog address from Kelly yesterday.
I went down to the marina for Roger's do and asked after you both and thats when Kelly told me where you were ect. The only bits I saw to start with was on Facebook and then you said something about the blog not being up and running properly. So I'll probably have to scan the pages to get the gist of whats been occurring and where you have visited and stuff.
Evidently your weather has played its part in your travels and you surely are missing one of the mildest winters here thats for sure. As for my mate in Calgary, he says today thats Thursday, its minus forty one!!! bloody hell that is brass monkies!!
Ali is well and sends her love and is quite envious of your shenanigans so far. I booked some time away over Easter and this year her birthday falls on Easter Sunday so I hope on that day we will be taking a balloon flight over the River Nile and the Valley of the Kings at Luxor. I'm really looking forward to that. (Wasn't there something about a balloon that came down in NZ recently?)
Got a bit of flying to do here in London on Monday but its really been very quiet on the work front. Early days yet.
So you two keep out of trouble and enjoy as they say. Have a local beer for me as well.
Cheers mate, Love to Sue and catch you laters.

Your colour! Can't you at least say its raining and you are hating it and you miss the Orwell's mud! It s too depressing to read otherwise. Glad you are having a blast, biker boy, Vietnam next?

Merry Christmas Hello, loving your blog as it takes us right back to our time travelling Thailand back in 1994!! Thanks so much for pressies for the boys. Tommo loves his Bob the Builder rolly toy and Jack is very happy with his clothes too. Hope you had a nice Christmas day and didn't miss the family too much! June and Graham Davenport
Woolverstones Revenge Hi Jon/Sue,
Sounds wonderful. Here not quite so hot, in fact its cold and wet, strong winds due in on Tuesday, then rain,no sign of the end of winter yet.Flowers in Bangkok look stunning, as I look out of the office I can't actually see any here, but thats hardly surprising given the time of year. The water taxi was late again, well actually there isn't one and the street vendors are short in supply.
Marina busy with lifting and there are a whole host of moves within the company, but good news - you still have a job. I'll send an EMail when the dust settles and keep you up to speed.
Keep in touch and enjoy.
TB
Are we there yet?Are we there yet? Are we.... Wherever you have landed (Singapore Changi?) I bet its nicer than here! F8-9 and wet, but Silver Wain is still upright!
Couldn't resist being first You didn't say you were backpacking! Ravi, Sofia and I wish you a brilliant (and safe) adventure and look forward to reading your news. Take care, Eric
