Accordianists Rock!! So you have finally seen the light and realize that Accordianists do in fact Rock!!! Just like in my fashion sense I am way ahead of my time with my accordian playing. Any requests?
By the way good luck in getting your room back. Since Mom and I repainted and redecorated your room, Dexter has pretty much taken over. I left for work this morning and he was laying on top of the big pile of pillows including the newest big cozy black one Mom bought. He barely acknowledged me as I left. He was too comfortable!!
Veggie haggis? It's just not the same, Brit. :) Not that I have any room to talk--can't say I've had too many organ dishes, and the ones I had, I really didn't like (except chicken gizzards--they were tolerable, deep-fried). OK, enough of my rant--I hope you get through the weekend with less drama, and enjoy your veggie haggis!
Peace,
Jeff
Quiet...is nice Hi Britt!
I see your comments about this past weekend's activities, and it's good to have some downtime, since every weekend, at least (if not also the weekdays), can seem like an adventure, and could get very draining, without that time to rest and reflect. Since you're planning other trips, it's good to recharge the batteries before you launch into yet more adventures. There's bound to be something cheesy in every region you travel...it's probably not too bad for you to encounter something like this, after this much time, that finally rated your comments. Hope you avoid further cheese in your travels this fall...:)
Peace,
Jeff
veggie Susie's Diner near Edinburgh University (opposite the Pear Tree pub off Niccolson street) has excellent veggie food and Henderson's - Hanover street I think - has nice veggie food too. Maybe you know these already.
Guard station... Of course...how could I be so thick-headed? Thanks! It's good to see you chime in every now and again on FS. As for me, we're trying to hunt up my favorite of all pictures of myself, with the late 80s mullet, as promised. Keep us all posted on your adventures!
Peace,
Jeff
Shelter Do you mean the parts with the scaffolding (sp?) and plastic? If so, that's the palace still but the roof is still under construction...after all this baby was built in the 12th century so it needs a lot of maintenance hehe.
Love the pictures Hi Britt!
The pictures look really cool. I like the one with your average, streetcorner Scottish warrior. ;) You kids look so metal!
So, the individual shelter by the castle--what is that? Just curious.
Thanks for bringing the rest of us along on your little adventure.
Peace,
Jeff
Mom Misses YOU!! Hey Britt - I've been reading your blog (thanks for updating this!) and am SO glad you arrived safely. I miss you terribly! But so glad you are there and getting into a new routine. Your dad keeps asking for a kilt! You have to help me! Him and Dexie Do are driving me crazy already....your pics were awesome. I loved them! Stay safe and enjoy exploring the world....wish I was there. Love - mom
GothDad, checking in... Hey, kiddo...
I signed up to get notified of your every blog entry. I'm glad that you made it in safely, and that you're already enjoying so much. I mentioned on FS that we're all jealous over here in the States.
Make the most of it...
Peace,
Jeff
Hey you! So glad to hear you made it! Can't wait to hear and see all about it.
Better check out that Scotsman in the Scottish garb and bagpipes again... are you sure it isn't your dad out there serenading you?
