Food Loving the pictures of the food! You should try a nice juicy steak. Ooh sorry, Dave try a nice juicy steak. Enjoy what is left and safe journey home.
Great photos- evoking lots of good memories. Spring obviously better than Autumn for bear spotting- think they must’ve hibernated when we were there!! Enjoy the rest of your trip xx
Had that exact same feeling in Whistler, especially with all the young sporty weekenders around! You’re certainly seeing amazing views and special sights- glad you got to see bears. Really enjoying your blog- reliving it with you. Looking forward to tales from the Rockies x
Yes Whistler def. for the young Spence's Bridge was the complete opposite. Gradually getting to the Rockies, but really enjoying the journey. Canada is beautiful.
Doughnuts I did not get to Whistler but it looks great if a bit cold. Did I tell you to try Tim Houghton's ( I think that's how you spell it) doughnuts? Enjoy the rest of it.
Getting greener by the day So pleased the sun continues to shine for you. it all looks just as I left it!!! Did you find the Dolly Partons above Vancouver?
Great start! Sounds like you’ve had a brilliant start to your trip. Hope you get to do the bike ride to, and around Stanley Park - worth it for the totem poles alone, but great scenery too. Hope the rest of the trip goes as well as the first day. By the way, we’re sitting listening to sheep baaing all around us at the Isaac Walton hotel, recommended by Ian and Jan. Dancing was a bit depleted on Tuesday- just the faithful four xx
