On Wednesday 21 May we travelled through the Cariboo Region - the back door to Whistler. It was an amazing scenic gorge. Whistler is an amazing city, the host of the 2010 Olympic Games, and are they sure gearing up for it. Whistler village itself is amazing as it is only foot traffic, so there were heaps of people milling around, playing football in the streets. This is certainly the place to visit if you are a skiier - Stuart you would love it, there are heaps of Australians and Kiwi's working here. Once again a hurried one night stay then up early for our trip to Victoria, we returned to the coastal road down to Vancouver where we boarded our ferry to Victoria - through the Georgia Strait.
