You have a good eye for architecture! In fact, Israeli/Canadian/American architect Moshe Safdie designed both the Salt Lake City and the Vancouver libraries. Nice catch!
Thanks for sharing the trip! As an American it's unlikely that I'll get to visit North Korea anytime, but I really enjoyed reading your posts about visiting. The pictures were great, and though I've read many reports from people who had visited they were all written from an American's or European's point of view, and not from the point of view who toured the country with a Chinese group. It sounds similar, but still different, from the other accounts I've read of visiting there.
Thanks again for sharing this. It was truely fascinating.
Interesting Found your blog after a friend of mine went to see the Yibukua. I didn't realize the river was so narrow and shallow until I saw the pictures. Hope I can make the same trip some day.
question I would like to use your photo in an art lesson about murals. Is it possible to get the picture from you? Thanks a lot in advance and greetings, Juliane

Inspiring When I was in Sri Lanka, every Friday I attend the Novena to the Infact Jesus. In addition, I used to visit this Church daily before I go to work at Associated Elictrical
Corporation. Now that I in Calgary Canada, I still say the daily prayers to the Infanta
Jesus 'cos he has been ever so helpful to me which I remember forever.

enquiry about staff I am trying to track down an Abdul Rahim Bin Ahmad, who used to be on the staff at the National Museum in Brunei. I knew him in 1974 when he was a visiting student at Birmingham Museum Natural History Department. I would very much like to get in touch with him. If you know of him could you please send me his address or e-mail? I would be most grateful.
Hello there.. Hello,
The interesting structure is a tomb of a lady related to the Bruneian royal family and is dated 1452AD. She had an unlawful relationship with a sibling and was punished by Sultan Sulaiman, the Sultan of Brunei at that time.

Pinnacle@Duxton visit Hi,
I was just wondering whether you are allow to roam freely on the sky bridge from one block to another block at the 50 floor. Understand the sky bridge linked each block to another. Or you are only restricted to certain block.
Thank you so much.
Regards, David Ng
I love cheap travel I was trying to figure out which buses to get once I was in Blaine, thanks for laying out the details you saved me some time. I LOVE finding the absolute cheapest way to get places, it's half the fun of traveling. I think it would be awesome if someone traveled across the entire US from coast to coast using nothing but public transit (not Greyhound).
contact information of Full Moon Garden Hotel Sir,
I want to travel from Beijing to Sri Lanka in Feb 2010, and try to find a hotel close to airport since I'll arrive very late.
I searched and found that you've stayed in Full Moon Garden Hotel. Could you please let me know whether you still have contact information of this hotel. Thank you.

You are lucky it was ONLY -10 and not -40 Celsius. :))))
I live in Edmonton. It is an OK city, I love the summer but the winter is very long and COLD!!!! Brrrrr!
Born in Hong Kong and currently living in Singapore, I am a guy who loves travelling. Like many "travelholics" at TravelBlog, I'm so addicted to travelling that once I stopped travelling I will have withdrawal symptoms. Hence, to cure my addiction, I have to go somewhere at least once every 2 months. (I must admit that it is an expensive addiction. Haha. But at least addiction to travel is healthier than addiction to drugs/smoking/drinking...)
I started using TravelBlog when I was doing my internship in Canada in 2005. (For older photos before my Canadian internship... full info
