Welcome to my Travel blog!

There's not much here, really. I'm planning my round the world bicycle trip, which I intend to start at the beginning of May, 2025. I will be starting from Bondi Beach and cycling from Melbourne, before making my way to Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories, Canada. From there, it's through the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia, then finally landing in Perth or Darwin and cycling back to Bondi Beach.

Planning my first long distance ride: Sydney-Melbourne, 2016

For the last two years, I’ve spent a week visiting one of my sisters and brother-in-law in Geelong (which is just outside of Melbourne). On one of the weekend days, it’s now become a tradition to go to an AFL match or two. After going to a match a week ago, while my brother-in-law and I were walking back from the MCG to Flinders Street Station, I came up with the idea of doing my first long bike ride. Every September (though, sometimes in October), the AFL (Australian Football League) have their Grand Final at the MCG. A drive out to mid-Pennsylvania

Today I decided to drive out to mid-Pennsylvania. The plan was to go out to the famous horseshoe curve in Altoona, located in Blair County. However, it was further away than I thought it was! By the time I got out there, it was time to head back to Newark.
