I'm going to save this blog to favourites and read it carefully. I'm thinking of heading there in April 2011.

Frankly speaking, I didn't manage to find the equivalent for Cats in Abkhazian. I have a textbook of Abkahzian language in Russian, but i don't study it yet and the vocabulary in it has no word cat. the internet did not give me anything. i will try to find some other sources. What concerns names, Abkhazia is a part of Georgia on most maps. i will try to find sources of their names later. Thanks

Caucasian cats
I'm trying to find the word for CAT in Abkhazian (or any of the more obscure Caucasian countries) Abkhazians obviously like cats! Also I'm trying to find forenames and surnames used in that part of the world - too obscure even for Wikepedia (apart from Georgian names of course) Can you help?

I loved your post and photos of Sosnovy Bor. It looks beautiful and I want to go there, even though you say it's changed, maybe not for the better. My blog is looking for travel photos, reviews, etc, to share. If you have the time, check it out at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com, or email me at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com. Continued fun on your travels! Heather :)
