Forgot to label the pictures. The school yard with the kids, my home stay mom and the teen whose bed I took and finally the school. By the way at the home stay everyone sleeps in the same room little privacy curtains for the visitors and of course the net!
Thanks Hi Barry - thanks for doing the blog so we can follow your adventures. We'll look forward to hearing about the orphanage, etc.
Take care and enjoy!

Living through your eyes I just love following your blog .. seeing it through Canadian eyes .. I don't think I will ever be lucky enough to visit .. but I am enjoying your journey.
I think ?Toronto's is better. The kids could be on u-tube, they are so cute. All 150 of them in Kindergarten, all in uniform. Today was fun day so I got to carry the egg in the spoon with all of them! Had my picture taken many times, many proud parents seing their kids carry the egg and "talking" with the english teachers!
After reading this post i come to know how many good people met with you that too with in single Sunday, that\'s great. but suddenly the news of flood, so pity.

Favorite Place Wow! So you had a nice time in my favorite place! I just loved my stay there and choose accommodation rooms from an online hotel reservation agency that offers great discounts with a range of budget hotels in Hua Hin and hotels in Hua Hin,
Your comments Thanks there sis, it is indeed a once in a lifetime experience, there has been a lot of rare moments that make me realize how lucky we are and then there have been just as many making me think, these people have it right, we are such a cold people in many ways. Here it is nothing to see two middle age men greeting each other with hugs and then walking down the street arm in arm and it is obvious it is friendship. I will probably come home bowing and clasping my hands together, it is done for every greeting. The security guards salute everyone who enters a shop for example, no matter if you are asked a million times if you want a taxi or some other thing you always reply and you always reply with a smile, one day a lady asked me if I wanted a massage and I was in my own little world and I guess I said no without smiling, I tell you she gave me hell. And their religion is somthing else, as I said in my blog a few times it is very inspiring to watch them pray, young and old.
Lots of stories when I get back.
Take care
Thanks As per my blog today it looks like Vietnam is off, we have suffered two Hurricanes in m y home town and the family are very concerned that I would intentionally put myself in another one!! I have it from people who have been there that you won't give Thailand a second thought if you go to Vietnam so go if you can. Lots and lots of Brits here in Thailand I tell you, I think they would be considered a minority race here HA
Thumbs up!! Really enjoying your blog - keep it up! Really want to go to Vietnam, hope you get to go there so I can find out more about it! Cheers, Jonathan (Cardiff. UK)
From Drizzly Gray Halifax Hi Buddy!
I hear that you are having a dandy fine time on the other side of the world. I can confirm your wife is well; she cooked a lovely barbecue last evening for Erica's birthday and there are no big holes anywhere because we figured out the propane tanks quite well! We talked a fair bit about your meeting people from all over the place and buying drinks for everyone in Thailand. I did not see you doing lots of that in Canada! Travel safe, enjoy.
Boredom Hey, we never did hear about the ladyboy show. Hope you can find a good book to ease the ennui. I also hope that things don't progress to the point that you want to return to the DVA!
Tell us a bit about yourself: this information will appear on your page and can be edited later.
Time to see the world, 50 something wants to see Asia, travelling alone with a backpack, crazy or adventurous, only time will tell........ full info
