Amazing! ... both you and your adventure, my friend. Your silence after the initial e-mail had me a tad concerned, but clearly this blog took a long while to prepare. I will comment at greater length soon--and most probably via e-mail.
For now, blessings and much love to you as you journey on.
glad you are having and enjoyable and memorable time. I wish I could do somethig as adventours as you. hope you get the role in the play and contiue to have a good time.
It is very inspiring. That is exactly what I looking forward of doing this summer. Could you let me know where is the Chan Buddhist Temple since I cannot find it from the internet. Thanks.
an inspiration indeed No doubt you and all of the Sichuan volunteers touched at least one person in a positive way in your/their days, hours, or minutes of volunteering. Showing someone you care about them has such great power! You illustrate so clearly here how we as individuals have more power to do good than most of us realize. Hope you are doing well stateside.
Much love,
Stephanie
Ku zhong zuo leæ-P Although, your camera lost, and pitiful cannot see the pices of you in SC, what you describe shows a perfect reality of the people, esp, the kids are kindled by the love you introduced to and the Chinese folk saying Ku zhong zuo leæ-P ...
You have showed a real documentary of part of SC in this devastating period. I am inspired by your writing style. A good description paper never leads its readers to stare out the exact picture from the writer, but close their eyes to be showered in the true scene...
hi,george it is really wonderful of your unique travel, george.sometimes i fell enlightened by your words, you are finding very hard of our father's will,it is very great!may god bless you more!
Life The temple has come alive through your description, George. I’ve always thought of life as nothing but a horrible mistake; I’ve always been afraid of quietness and solitude. But Buddhist temples have both of these. I am still searching for the meaning of life ..your article is making me rethink some of the fundamental realities of life. Thanks for the great gift.
Though I am not bored of the hustle and bustle of life in this hot and rip-roaring city, your articles often render me a feeling of peace and coolness which is increasingly different from my current life. Like a cool and comforting brook across parching fields, your thoughts are soothing and remind me of another lifestyle which we all can pursue.
It is Good G,
It is good that you did this and I can understand why. your writing is so descriptive and makes one feel like they are there with you. Great photo's, too. You should publish some of them to the web. i can show you how to do this through www.imagespan.com when I'm out there, or you can figure it out on your own. Sounds like an interesting and revealing place and experience ... look forward to the next chapter/section.
