Congrats to Shane and the entire team Shane - a cheer for your great showing and sportsmanship. To the entire team, it sounds like you've all made Canada a name to remember the next time around. Best wishes for a safe trip home and a happy, well-deserved holiday.
Living the philosophy! Some wisdom passed down to me: "Make more friends, not more techniques!" and "If you can win a person's heart that is true kungfu!" Good job to all for living and practicing the philosophy!
Melissa your writing "rolls" - rollergirl! :)
You are a champion no matter the outcome! My love is with you all :)
Bart this is for you. You did what you set out to do and I am extremely proud as well as everyone else. You fought your demons and one. You are the champion and now relax and kick back. Shane kick some ass tomorrow and keep focused. Dan, Sifu, Melissa keep up the good work and support. We miss you and send all our love. GO TEAM CANADA :)
Damn proud of you guys over there! Bart, I'd like to say congrats! Reading Melissa's blog, I can just imagine exactly how you took that fight to the Chinese. Keep shaking up the world! And Ayron, I have to say I can't be prouder of you and everything you've accomplished! Once my teacher, always my teacher. And Melissa... great job! It's not easy making us able to see with our own eyes... almost! ;)
Proud of You! What really matters? Spirit! We are VERY proud of you, win or lose! Hope Ayron's finger is ok. And Melisa, I can really sympathesize with you when it comes to bargain because I am the same. :) we love reading your updates, can't wait for you to write more! In the mean time, bear with the air and try to have lots of fun!
We are still cheering for all of you. And we knew Bart would make us proud. Lots of pats on the back Bart. And Melissa, your writing is wonderful as it gives us a picture of both Sansho and the country which is very positive. Thanks for taking the time.
shaking up the world Good work Bart!! He surely redeemed some respect since our last "fight" against the Chinese two years ago. What's the name of the Chinese guy Bart fought? If it's not too troublesome, it would be interesting to know who are on the Chinese team this year. And how did the American and Korean do? Anyone chearing for "Day-ha-min-gor" this year?
Good luck to Shane!!
take care,
Derek.

Here are my vibes... Hey guys,
Who's Eslam? 3 rounds against Brasil?! I bet that was a close match. Good work!! Good work for Bruce as well, and sounds like he is hitting harder and harder (enough even to break Ayron's finger).
Win or lose, you guys are the best Sanshou team ever assembled in Canada. This is the first time we have a FULL team, and EVERYONE get to fight!! Enjoy every moment of it!! You are all winners!!!
And for Bart and Shane, "go kick some butts! the goal is within your reach!!"
Happy Birthday Melessa!! And say hello to Ayron and Dan and everyone for me :)
One question that I have been wanting to find out though; what's the real Vietnamese noddles (Pho) like?
Looking forward to your next update!!
take care,
Derek.
