Long days..... only stars we saw in Ak are the ones on their flag....We moved out of desert to the mountains. Found a great place, Show Low, in NE AZ Hope to stay here for a couple of months....Ken can go fish and I have a cute shed that i set up my sewing room in. Hope you have as much fun as we are!
R U having fun yet? I think Petersburg is where we visited a fish packing plant. Saw how they smoke it and had good samples. Was fun if you like smoked fish....Wish you had more sun...have you seen an iceberg yet?
I remember all the eagles on the trees in the narrows...hundreds then.
Meyer's Chuck is where our cat, Zelda, first got out of our boat since home I think. She walked in and out most all the boats and came home. Wish I could send you some of our sun and heat...108 today and 113 tomorrow...we are going to the mtns next week i think...have fun..XXX's
Happy Father's Day.....in ALASKA.. So glad you made it and really glad you found the bag...whoa that would have been REALLY BAD! You had your mind on lots of stuff and that just wasn't one of them huh?
We just got home last night after 4 days in San Diego visiting Tim and fam. Tiantian graduated from 8th grade and we sure enjoyed seeing her class and teachers etc. There are some very talented kids there, quite a fun thing. Then Fri we toured SD some and just visited. Walked the marina and saw a couple of Navigators. Our hearts were tugging....Teresa's dad was there with us and it made it special.
Happy Anniversary BTW, We spent ours driving the HOT deserts of CA & AZ. over 100 all the way. Big dust storm in Scottsdale when we got close, so luckily were able to go to Gila Bend and avoid it. We stopped in Palm Desert for a nice lunch and a mocha frappe for dinner on way home....kept us awake you know.. Hope the rain goes away (it will in July) and the boat is in good shape after being alone. We did go to Ketchikan Yacht club and bought shirt and hat there. Had nice visit with folks there..easy walk from our dock. Well, we look forward to each installment so keep it up...HAVE A GREAT TIME>
OH, is anybody taking care of your place? We need places to stay when we go north with trailer. If we can help let us know...would enjoy digging in dirt again.

Congratulations on a safe passage to Alaska. I am glad you do not have our 30 knot trade winds up there. Some turbulent water out in front of us the past 2 days. Merilee is wondering if you need a cook up there yet. See you soon. We get back to Yakima on Wednesday.
