Brilliant!
The vivid descriptive power behind your narration is highly commendable. With your screenplay mental imageries you have succeeded in taking us on a thrilling trip of adventure into the Volta Region without being there in person. More power to your elbows.
re are there caucasion people that live in ghana that go to university there i have been talking to a girl who has given me pictures and im currious to see if this is true or not can u get back to me i just find it hard to believe that a good looking white girl lives there
Thanks for sharing BA! Hi Brian, thanks for sharing your lovely photos and commentary about Buenos Aires. I'm really hoping that my family and I get to visit soon enough. From what I've heard and from what you have experienced words there are not enough words to describe it. Keep up the fantastic work on your blogsite!
Best,
Cheryl

Enjoyed your Benin entry I lived in Benin 15 years ago when I was working as a volunteer teacher trainer. I stumbled upon your blog when your photo was featured at the top. It was nice to revisit Ganvie.
Kiev I'm so glad to be part of this trip, if only vicariously. And I see that I can travel through Africa with you a year later........and it's free. Thanks! Barbara
Kiev musings Thanks for sharing your musings. The rainy weather sounds good here in sunny Tucson, but perhaps not exactly what you want when traveling. Hope you're taking photos of the modern era as well. And don't forget to get some photos of you and Sarah too, just so we know you're really there. Enjoy. Be safe. Love, Mom
Can't wait to see more pictures! Great pictures! I can't wait to see all the pictures! I'm so glad you're in Buenos Aires! It's a beautiful city! I was afraid of you and Ryan going to Bolivia because of the dangerous roads, political problems, etc but I guess you had the experience of you life! Take care and looking forward to seeing you next week. Marcela
bikes and yikes Just like hearing about your foray into Ivory Coast and the machine- gun-toting soldiers, I'm so glad to know about your bike excursion on the Death Road AFTER you got down safely!!! Love the photos of you and your friends and the feathered and furry tykes too. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Love, Mom
Great pictures! We just got back from South Dakota and I'm so glad to hear from you. I love your pictures! I'm glad you liked Machu Picchu!! I can't wait to here about the last part of your trip in Peru, the Lago Titicaca. By now, you should be in Buenos Aires. Have a wonderful time in Argentina! Please, keep us informed about the rest of your trip. Take care! Marcela
Amazing photographs :o) I am so happy you've added photos, I love to see what you are up to! One of these days, I will remember to bring my USB cord with me to Kumasi and then I can upload some photos too! Until then, much love!
Hilarious! I think it is just funny that I spend everyday inspecting my food and asking questions to make sure I don't get any meat, or especially fish, which seems to be in EVERYTHING here, and there you are, eating every animal in the world you can get your hands on, hahahah! I am going to say that I think that we cancel each other out :o) So enjoy!
