At last! As a parent you hope that your children become millionaires. Now Mom and I can rest easy(er)!LOL Also good news that you have figured out how to use the facilities. Could you imagine the alternative?
The pictures on the blog are great. I am certainly hopeful of a slideshow by Sarah once you return home.
Are you sure it was Armagnac?
Cheers
How many angels can pee on the tip of a tongue? I was just at the grocery store and they called a pack of weiner dogs "SPECIAL! $1.99"
Leah and I learned about cross-cross-cultural dining the hard way with Indian food in Bulgaria, we will forever stick to the regional delicacies

An Exaltation of Wiener Dogs I don't know about Wiener dogs (kennel? pack? litter?), but I can tell you it's an implausibility of gnus and a murmuration of starlings! http://rinkworks.com/words/collective.shtml
BULA!!! HEY GUYS!!!! I can't believe you made it back to Tubakula!! Was Tui there? THe cows and bats? Tamsy, Felix, Torika, Mohammed, Doris?? The ABBA mix? The UB40 dance parties? Ping Pong? That crazy cafe you had to cross an obstacle course to get to? Nick, did you serenade her with some "Hotel Centra Suva"? Ni-ickHappyBirthdaytoYou. We tried to call on the first, but that country seems to have a strange telephone number system we couldn't figure out.

King's B-day For a second there I thought you two were claiming yourselves as King and Queen. Then I realized the King reference has nothing to do with someone's up coming birthday. Like alway, I forget if your birthday is on the 1st or the 3rd, either way happy birthday!
A friend here has been talking about eating Thai food. After reading this, I'll be sure it's at their place not mine!
You found the buddha head in the tree Of course you did! After I emailed I looked at the blog. Y'all have some amazing pics! We wish we were there sippin' the plastic bag coconut juice with ya. Cheers!
luvin' Thailand Finally, figured our your blog info! Loving the updates. Jealous, of course.... isn't Thailand fantastic????? Make sure you check out the night markets. Miss you both. Love, Lynore
P.S. Your dad makes great gingerbread men, Sarah.
All manner of goods - in a bag Hi guys, great to hear you are enjoying The Land of Smiles! Forgot to mention that they loooooooove plastic bags. Still jealous of the great food you guys have access to. Keep having fun, travel safe, can't wait for your next post. Cheers and Beers. P.S. We all know there is only one Vegas, and its cold and rainy today! (Bugger - wish we were somewhere warm like that place in Nevada - whats it called????)
Thai time, Thaiglish and The Land of Smiles Great to hear about your little adventure getting to BKK. Its good to see that you have already had a thorough introduction to the concept of Thai time (the concept of 10 minutes equalling an hour and an hour equalling anything other than 1 hour!). No doubt the next blog will comment on the concept of Thaiglish - you will know what I mean the moment you hear it - everyone in Thailand speaks it! Keep having fun and don't forget to visit the noodle bar at Soi Petchaburi (pronounced PET - BOORI)19 - Red pork and crab meat with egg noodle soup - AWESOME!!! Keep having fun, we're both jealous, Cheers and Beers, Jen and Muzz
Tuk Tuk's vs. Cabs Beware in Bangkok that certain taxis, no different from the regular taxis are commissioned to take foreigners to Jewellery Wholesale shops to try and get you to purchase jems to take back to your home country. These sales people, and the drivers are harmless though they are the best English Speaking Thai I ever met....it can be an inconvience. I suggest the Tuk-Tuk's over the cabs to save you the detour and shameless success stories...but that is just my experience. Enjoy Thailand, I miss it very much. Love, Kris
Very informative! Strangely enough, there was a question on today's quiz (we do the quiz in the newspaper every day at the office) about the Petronas towers. I had read your blog only a day earlier, and thanks to you guys, got the question right! Woo!
hehe
Nice to hear you're having fun!
Island Hopping Hey Nick and Sarah!!
Your trip sounds fabulous, makes me so envious!! Check out the Perenthian Islands on the east coast if you get a chance - the water is amazing and diving is fabulous! BFN!!
As an artist.... As an artist, yes, most art nowadays is way too abstract and crap to really be considered art, at least in my eyes. And as for the benches, i bet the artist intended people to sit on it. Not all art is supposed to be just for display, a lot is supposed to be interacted with.
I am super glad that you guys enjoyed Australia, I can't wait to get there someday =) I would love to do a similiar trip to you guys with Ryan someday. Who knows, maybe we will =)
Hooray for Hawkers Great to hear you guys jumped in the deep end and went straight for the hawker food. Keep it up, it will add a whole rich dimension to your experience that many people miss. Keep us updated, travel safe and "Viva La Big Stuff"!
First the tomato, now the prawn! Sarah, how do you tell which end is which on the prawn? LOL
Sounds like another new adventure lurks around every corner! Wish we could be there with you. Drive (be driven) safely.
Cheers
