fighting fit! Very impressed that you stayed fighting fit to the end, Muz. But then again, I'm not surprised, having seen you clean up after many, many family Norovirus outbreaks and only once coming down with it yourself. It sounds like a fabulous trip, and the perfect time to end it, too. ;-) Now that Rob and I are full-on coffee geeks, I think we would have enjoyed both the Costa Rican coffee and also the Trinidad coffee "museum." Rob and I really enjoyed this blog, thanks for keeping it so lively and full of pics! xox
Love the Blog Came in late after Pamela gave me the link and have just caught up on the past 14 days. Looks amazing and brought back some memories. Very impressed with your zip-wire adventure, more guts than me!!!
You seem to have fallen into the life in Cuba - two staples- Coffee and rum!!! What a life..
So here's to The Triumph of the Revolution....
Those cigars! Dr John could pass as a seasoned cigar smoker, muz, on the other hand, that picture made me laugh, bless you, but I hope you enjoyed it! Looks like you waylor seniors have still got it in you, sounds a fabulous holiday, although after that last taxi ride I'm pretty sure the Audi and the jag will be greeted with open arms back home. Safe travels home travellers, see you on the other side X
6 days to go! Hello Suzanne
Loving your blog and looking forward to some sun! It's cold and wet here s enjoy it while you can. Just waiting to see if the course is open this morning as its been shut for a few days. I see you are all in shorts and tee shirts so this helps our packing. Would be interested to know how much you are paying for meals in Cuba and how much you are tipping? Xx Pamela

Havana Wow, it sounds like an amazing city, what experiences! And I have to say that I approve of a museum that depicts George W like that! I just can't get over how colorful the city is, all the buildings and cars. And those cars! The road-worthy ones, at least. Makes the new cars in our part of the world look ungainly and plain...
Oldies gone wild So this post made me laugh out loud, on many levels, what's happened to the conservative sensible oldies who are now drinking mohitos like they are going out of fashion, buying dodgy cigars and taking restaurant advice from the bouncer in the ghetto! Muz/Suzanne - will your golf friends recognise you !!?? I'm half expecting someone to come back with dreadlocks !!
RAIN!!!!! Amazing you travel all that way, and our Cornish rain finds you! Photos fab not sure I'm brave enough for the zipwire. Had a lovely stay at the Hotel Koh-I-Noor, now 5 star, only thing missing was the Woods! X
Havana Wow, the buildings are beautiful, and the cars are fantastic! Love the color everywhere. And I approve of a holiday that replaces coffee breaks with mojito breaks!
Twin sisters and their husbands are going on an adventure to Costa Rica and Cuba - Costa Rica to see the New Year in with family and Cuba because we're retired and we can!... full info
