HEY FROM THE COKERS Thanks so much for adding me to your blog. So, PAYDAY IS a BIG DAY!"Mahvelous"
Had coffee with your mom and Mrs. Ritcher this morning. Next year, you'll be with us.
Love to you. Mrs. Coker
Lucky You! Well, V. C., it looks as though you're becoming a devotee of your new environs. Had I been you, I would have bought the moon pie and also asked for a R. C. Cola. (That's what the country people usedto order as their haute cuisine!
China is one country I have always wanted to visit, but I guess it's too late now. Probably a good thing because they are rapidly becoming our owners. If we don't get that socialist out of office and clear out the entire Congress, then the Chinese parents will be saying to their children: "Eat everything on your plate. Think of the starving American children" That's what our parents used to say to us except just reverse the countries.
You have a great time over there. We prayed for you last Sunday, then your beloved old Dad aslo said: "pray for Shanghai" Wouldn't you just know it. He hot a big laugh as usual. That was in the Knott Sunday School Class. Take care, and I look forward to hear more about your escapades. Love, Bunny
BSF Are you studying Isaiah in BSF. I'm in a BSF class in Smithfield. How is the Chinese version. yes, I know it is done in English but are they similar to US BSF classes. Sorry to hear about your health problems. There isn't much you can do but rest. Keep up the good blogs.
Appreciation banquet I thought you just started teaching. Appreciation already.
At least it should boast you for the rest of the year.
I enjoy your photos and comments. The children look
delightful. Enjoy this experience in a very different culture.
Great to see pictures and read We love looking at your pictures. The kids are adorable but our favorite is Alex and Minsu's homework. Boys are the same all over the world.
OMG I have several things to say:
1. i'm hoping you come back buddhist. i've always wanted to know one.
2. go back and steal that baby.
3. LOOK AT ALL THOSE SHOES! Ah it's a good thing i'm not there because I would buy them all!
4. Oh, and I'm glad you're having a good time!
Blessing Hi V.C.
How wonderful to see what I have only read about put into pictures, knowing that you are fulfilling what the Lord has called you to do. I know your children love you!
Love it! WE are so excited to be able to keep up with you on your blog!!! Your explanations are perfect and we loved seeing the pictures and hearing all about your first few days. I can't wait to log on and see all of your entries.
Larry says he is jealous - You have all of China in the palm of your hand!! We are so proud if you.
WE are headed today to visit Carol and Wison - so excited.
Great adventure Thanks for doing this blog. I always enjoy learning about other parts of the world.
I'll have to remember this site when I travel to England next spring.
Keep up the great messages.
Great to see pictures and read It was so great to read your blog, see pictures of places and hear that the food is great. Pamela is still having computer issues therefore we have not been able to skype or talk. I just signed up with skype to make calls to her mobile but can't seem to figure out how to make that work as well. I really wish the 2 of you were at the same school. I guess with only 4 English teachers you will pick up the Chinese more quickly out of necessity and you will all become very close. Pamela said there are around 85 English teachers at her school. It will be great to hear and see your experiences from 2 different areas. Well I am so glad I found your blog. Its is great

Dear Virginia,
Just read your story about your Jane Austen trip. Although it's been a year since you've been there, I enjoined reading it! I'm a great Jane-fan myself and this weekend I went to Alton with a friend and visited Chawton and Winchester. Your story is a little bit my story.....Your feelings about that she better be buriesd in the quiet churchyard of Chawton....touching the little writing table ( I did also...)
do you still studie in Bath?
Thank you for your story and I wish you all the best reading the novels of Jane!
(hope my english is not too bad...sorry!)
