Thankyou Hello Vince,
I'm grateful to you for sharing this knowledge with me. I've learned about buddhism through a different angle which makes me feel more happy from inside. I'm 20 and i feel the same which an infinite other young people around the world feel when they/I go to fb. Thankyou for teaching me a solution to evade jeolousy and slowly eradicate completely by filling up with compassion.
Regards,
Rushi
Inspiration Vince, you and Meg always inspire me. Always. Your thoughtful blog though, is something I can breathe my way into and live right there. I've all ready used it as inspiration for my blog because the place between aversion and attachment echos within exhale and inhale, and ebb and flow. That place between aversion and attachment is the pause that is our present, living right here.
The meditation you shared has been added to my practice, with love and delight.
My love to you and Meg.
XO
Lisa
Wow! Vince & Meg I love everything about your trip so far! Thank you for being so descriptive I feel like I'm there with you. That Golden Temple is so amazing, I didn't think it could look prettier until I saw the night photos. I am so beyond jealous! Have fun and be safe!
Wow ! Hi you 2 ! Your blog is awesome - read it to GG....it's like we're there with you. We're getting such an education - learning new things about the country. Merry Christmas - we thought of you both - like the story of the socks :>) God Bless - be safe & I'll keep reading. Sending much love from the Romano family ! xoxoxo=Gma/Gpa/GG
Try going to the doctor couldn't of written that better my self.
Going to the doctor is even worse, five people in the room while you tell the doctor your symptoms. Then the entire families of other the four other patients being treated by nurses peering into the room
WHO'D HAVE THOUGHT Such a spiritual place...home of the Dalai Lama...man of wisdom...man of mystery. Then two travellers unearth another mystery...sort of mystery that seems a tad unusual for such a place...food wrappers!!! Enlighten me please!!!
Interesting! Painting the lower trunk white is a common practice.Besides India I have seen it in Russia & Ukraine.
Reasons - As you said it's easier to identify the trees at night by vehicles. The paint also contains an ant/insects repellent and a white painted tree tells the public that the tree belongs to the municipality and therefore cant be felled.
Thanks! Thanks Sam! I'd only realized how it made the trees easier to see at night - I had no idea about the insect repellent and that seems or keeping the tree from being felled.

hmmmm.... Could it be that since there aren't any street lights or perhaps any lines that are painted on the side of the roads that the painted bottom of trees is their way of helping people define the boundaries of the road?
So interesting I'm so glad you both are writing about your time in New Delhi! I feel like I am there weaving through traffic as I read the words on the computer. It sounds a lot like when I was in Mexico walking through Cuernavaca, everywhere I went there were people talking to me offering some type of service. they just don't stop!! What is the secret word to make them stop! It's so funny to think that I am in Washington Depot, Connecticut where I need to make a huge effort to have someone say hi to me. Ok Meg and Vince, Brittany and I are thinking of both of you! Have a great time! I will keep reading. CIAOOOO
Vince and Meg,
Wishing you both a safe journey! Cannot wait to hear about all of your adventures. India is a fascinating place to visit and hope you both have an awesome time!
I get it!!! Your explanation was so beautiful, I could picture you both enjoying all of these wonderful experiences! Reading this makes me want to fly to India & meet you both for a cup of Chai and some yoga :) I'm so excited for you two and I hope you have an amazing time!!! Looking forward to 6 months of blogs.....Love you kids. xoxo momma weeks.
