Yes, me loves the food bits, but I can't help but notice that you're wearing a t-shirt. Lucky girl - we got another dumping of snow last night that thankfully has melted but I'm not going out in a t-shirt. Live it up!

Fun times Katy,
it sounds wonderful! You have had so many adventures around the world! I love your descriptions of the food.... very vivid. Enjoy the trip, and keep sending out the info!
:) JenD
Conch fish and stuff I love how so many Caribbean dishes are two-name things...ackee and saltfish, shark and bake, conch and stuff...
The description of the 70's palace is cool. Sounds like fun!

TandT Dynamite Katy! Sounds awesome. I've heard that TT is truly a fantastic experience. Enjoy your March Break having fun in the beautiful outdoors. I'm pretty jealous you get the authentic roti and curry!
Happy March Break! Hi Katy,
Sounds like a fantastic time you're having! NYC was superb -- we saw the Producers, went to Bklyn, and ran in Central Pk. Calgary is really cold, snowy, and I am without luggage :( Looking forward to the week with the kids.
Love, Em
ahhhhhhh Hey Katy,
This e-mail stands out as very different from those that have come before - you can read your state of peace and contentment in it. It is nice to hear that you are having such a wonderful time. Enjoy!

Reality will hit with the heatwave in TO. Cottage life is laid back and easy- reading, sleeping and eating! See you soon, love .om and Dad!!
I'm so happy to hear your Katy voice back. You had a while there where it was hard to recognize your tone on msn, but now its back to you! Katyyyy, the one I met, and love, and miss. I'm glad you love your life, you should. You've accomplished so much. Enjoy this. I'm still working on your gift.

One-man Association I love the concept of a one-man association. Thinking of starting one myself. Can't decide if it should be based on a Kabbalah meets Scientology religion or that Unicorn Breeding Centre I pitched to Dave Reiss. Anyway, regardless of the angle, there will be a collection box for sure.
Am still enjoying the food content of your travelog. I totally respect your affiliation with people who own snack companies. That shows a strong sense of priorities.
Have a great end of trip. I'm getting ready to shove off myself to Edmonton for three weeks. Jason's actor brother and his girlfriend are back crashing in my house upon their return from filming a CTV Travel Channel show called "Pleasure Zones." That's all I'm going to say for now, Katy. I'll just let you ponder that one for a bit. Once again, all of this unfortunately, is fact. I don't make any of this up.
Bon retour! Gladys
The adventures continue!!! Hey Bella! Thanks for the emails and updates. Sounds awesome! A real life altering experience. I know you are and will have a great time and I look forward to hearing more stories and seeing your pictures. My music course is almost done and our final concert is tomorrow!! Take care and keep writing :)
blessings katy ... for your heart for children... Hi Katy! Thanks so much for your wonderful and colorful travel stories!
Children are amazing aren't they! They capture your heart and teach you to love... speaking of young ones, i recently saw 5 orca whales in the ocean between the tiny islands near Vancouver Island - looked like they were parents and babes! They were so free and so beautiful!
I will keep you in my prayers as you work with these precious children! My own precious ones are away this summer - Naomi is in France and Talisa is touring across Canada!
Blessings to you, always.

Tropical sunsets Yeah...it's those little moments when you travel...the realization that you're experiencing something you might never again. Grab every moment, make it all count the way you always do.

I just want to be a sheep--baa, baa, baa,baa Sounds like you are having a great time! FYI- "I just want to be a sheep" was a hit song in the South African Orphanage last summer too!
I hope the rest of VBC goes well and you enjoy your home stay.
I'm heading back to Ontario today after a glorious month here in the Maritimes. I'm looking forward to catching up with you in August. Love, Martha
Hello Oh KT...would love to be there to see all of the views! Sounds like you are having a gret time... greetings from me to your pals! Take it easy in the sun and watch out for all the bugs~he he.
Howz the smores?
ps: got the museum job! yay!
My worldly friend... KT, so enthralled to read your adventures and finally have time to add a comment. I am currently in St. Andrews and find myself vibrating between two realities: the serenity and sea-side scope of St. Andrews and the glimpses of Grenada you have provided. I send you my warmest thoughts from Canada's East Coast.
Cheers!
Paul.
Hot fun, hot chicken I don't know if you can see these comments, Katy, but I'll try anyway. I seriously think that I could eat chicken and chips for a couple of weeks straight but I know that it's tough when it's blazing hot every day. Jason used to drag me to McDonald's when we were in China. Imagine eating an Extra Value Meal in 40-degree heat. Disgusting.
I love the descriptions of tropical fruit everywhere and the Pirates comparison. Have you found your Orlando Bloom, yet...or better still...Johnny Depp? Hot fun indeed!
Hey Katy! I miss you! But I love hearing all of your stories. How do you like the travelblog, it's great isn't it? Good luck and have fun, and try not to get too burned.

Sounds like FUN! Hi Katy! It's been a pleasure reading all your fun stories in Grenada, and it sounds like you're having a great time! I just think its amazing to have the opportunity to work with such a diverse group of people, literally from all over the world! I recently told my mom (who is from Guyana), about the trip and she was very excited to hear about the awesome work you all are doing. Hope to hear about the latest adventure soon!

Praying for you :) Hey Katy, Katy,
So glad to hear about your adventures. Please pass my love along to Verna, Joel, Rueben, etc etc. Is Farida (from Curacau there?) is RevKaren (from PCUSA) there?
My prayers are with you my sister as you live in community :) I too am living in world wide community here at the Coady International Institute so we will have stories to share when we get home.
May God continue to guide you and fill you with a joyful music!!!
Love and blessings,
Martha

Hey everyone,
I must admit I have the travel bug again but the travelling is slowing down just a little bit. After much travelling in Canada, Europe, Colombia, Grenada and Trinidad in the Caribbean I took a sabbatical from teaching to head off on a series of travel adventures to different parts of the world. My first stop-England, Wales, France and Monaco. My second trip from October to December I was in Asia and Southeast Asia-Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and then south to New Zealand. In the spring I was in Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Germa... full info
