Wow, I hadn't seen these pictures before. The apartment looks awesome, it looks like something you would find here in the US. I read your blogs and it sounds like you are adjusting in China. I'm glad that you are and I'm sure it helps Jason adjust as well. We were thinking about you guys the other night and remembered the time we had in Sante Fe. Hopefully we'll be able to do that again somewhere again. Hope this finds you well and I will talk to you later. I am on Facebook as well so when you are "allowed" back on from the Govt. please let me know and I'll add you as a friend. Take care.
Hugs to you and Jason from the US.

The first time I saw one of these in Europe, I thought it was a shower stall and walked out. I also once saw shoe-prints on a western toilet-seat. I guess we are not alone in our challenges to use toilets we are not used to :)
love you stories Hi So good to be able to read your interesting tales.. Lordy. carrie about your last eating trip, i would have gagged myself. so glad you are with a group of women now, I'm sure that will make the time go faster and not so lonely for home. Love you Grandma . Grandpa loved his card!
Thinking of you Hi, I love your apartment and the view is really awesome. I am glad you were able to get a blog going, we love hearing about your experiences, like finding out squid doesn't taste like chicken! LOL Take care Judy
When we set up our blog in 2009, we called it the Traveling Stones not knowing how true that would be. We expected to spend two years in China with Jason’s job and then find our way back home. Our stay lasted almost four years and then we found ourselves relocating from MA to NJ. Asia was a wonderful area of the world to live in and travel in and we will continue to post blogs and pictures of the things we are seeing and doing in our future travels. ... full info
