Felicia

I enjoy travelling, planning itinerary and exploring lesser known places.
Although I had been to many places in the past (before becoming a mum), I realised I have little impression of them already (pregnancy brain😞 ). Hence, I decided to create this blog to record down the travel I have with A (my LO) before I forget everything again.

Also, I realised after becoming a mum, travelling is so different now. I have to plan itinerary according to A's schedule as well as A's liking. Although we may be going to the same country, we are exploring different attractions. His current favourite is animal, so lots of farm and zoo. Let's see how it will change in the future!

Day 5 (13/03/2023) Last day of our trip. Husband bought some pastries from the cafe next to our hotel. They were pretty delicious. After breakfast, we had to rush off to the airport. Our initial plan was to shop at the airport, sadly we didn't have enough time and my husband's Youtrip card had issue making payment (plus we didnt have enough cash), so we only bought a bowl of noodle for A and had to rush to board the plane already. On a bright side, A was feeling much better.... read more

Day 4 (12/03/2023) Since A was still running a fever, we ordered breakfast via Grab. Compared to yesterday supper, the breakfast was not as good, but the kopi and tea were nice. After breakfast, we decided to explore the "Living Room". A had his first billard experience, but he was not very fascinated. After that, we decided to go out for a short walk and get our lunch as well. We walked to Lot 10, Farenheit 88 and Pavillion. There nothing that caught our eyes, so we ended up at a toy shop in Pavillion to get A a toy to make him feels better. He chose a box of animals, which cost RM160, but he was so happy when he saw it. After that, we went to Don Don Donki to get our lunch. Back ... read more

Day 3 (11/03/2023) We had breakfast at the hotel again. We had a shock when we saw the queue outside the restaurant. Luckily, the queue moved quite fast. The food was generally the same as yesterday. However, the food cleared off very quickly as there was a lot of people. We then went to the Parenthood, which is a indoor playground located in the mall. The playground was pretty fun and there were many obstacles. I accompanied A while my husband went to do some shopping. A enjoyed himself at the playground. He enjoyed it so much that he didn't want to change his diaper. In the end, his pants got all wet and I had to carry him out forcefully. After he changed, I switched with my husband. I walked around the mall and tried ... read more

Day 2 (10/03/2023) Since we slept late yesterday, A woke up later than usual. We had our breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre. After breakfast, we went back to our hotel to change and pack our stuff for Sunway Lagoon. Its a short walk from the hotel to Sunway Lagoon. When we arrived, we were shocked, as there was already a long queue at the ticketing counter. We have booked our tickets via klook, but we still need to queue to exchange for the wristband. I think we queued for approximately 20-30mins. As the weather was really hot, I told my husband to bring A to the playground in the shopping mall first. Finally, we got our wristbands, we then need someone else to help put it on with a sticker and then move to ... read more

Day 1 (09/03/2023) After we fetched A from school around 3pm, we went back home to shower A and do the remaining packing before we set off to the airport. We had early dinner in the airport. For this flight, A had his own seat and he did well without the pacifier during taking off and landing. We bought new sticker books and storybook to entertain him for this flight. After we landed, retrieval of luggage was pretty fast, but we took some time to locate the pick up area for the private transfer that we had booked beforehand. It took 45mins to reach Sunway Lagoon Hotel. Check in was also quite fast. Room was generally clean but can tell that the room is pretty dated. After we settled down, we decided to do a quick ... read more

1Sep2022 (Thurs) - Sunny We only had half a day before we need to catch our flight back to Singapore. After checking out, we pushed A on the stroller to our breakfast place (Croff Bakehouse). We wanted to take the free bus, but can't find the bus stop, so in the end we walked the entire journey. It was actually very nice to walk in that weather. We ordered a few croissants and a cake. The croissants were not bad, but the cake was just average. We then went to KMart to do our one and only shopping for the trip. The place was pretty huge, but I didnt get anything for myself as it was really difficult to shop around with A. But I did bought some kids clothes for A and my friend's daughter. ... read more

Day 6: 31Aug2023 (Wed) - Sunny I can't remember what we had for breakfast.. I only remembered the dishwasher was leaking as we washed our plates in it the night before. Anyway, after we checked out, we were off to Geographe Marina for the main activity of the day, which was whale watching! I was actually very excited as I have not seen whale before. The tour that we booked was All Seas Charter. We were slightly late when we reached so we were quite embarrassed as the rest of people were waiting for us to set off.. The boat was slightly old and not as big as I expected, but the crew were pretty friendly. There were 2 levels on the boat, but it was too difficult to bring A up to level 2 as ... read more

Day 5: 30Aug2023 (Tues) - Sunny As expected, it was a rough night as A was running fever over the night. We were unsure if his fever would break in the morning and if we could still continue our trip for the day. Husband went to get some bakery from Dunsborough bakery while we waited for A to wake up. The bakes were not too bad. While eating, A woke up feeling much better than yesterday. He also ate a little of the bakes. As we were running late behind time, I made some adjustment to the itinerary. 1st stop: Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse. We did not went up the Lighthouse, but did a short walk along the trail. The weather was great and the scenery was even better. Lots of greenery and the ocean can be ... read more

Day 4: 29Aug2022 (Mon) - Sunny Breakfast: We had muffins and bananas that we bought in Day 1. 1st stop: Decided to drop by Yahava KoffeeWorks since my husband is a coffee fanatics. Lots of greenery outside, but for me and A, there's nothing much to do. 2nd stop: Since we didn't get anything from Whistler's yesterday, we decided to visit The Margaret River Chocolate Company to get more souveniers. There were more variety as compared to Whistler's, but it was not amazing as well. 3rd stop: The main destination for the day: Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm! We started off at the rabbit and guinea pig enclosure. We got a bucket of veggies and entered one of the enclosures. It's pretty cool that each family get to sit in 1 enclosure with the rabbits and ... read more

Day 3: 28Aug2022 (Sun) - Sunny We were back at Whiteman Park to have our breakfast at the Village Cafe. Kids dine for free on Sunday! The choices were pretty limited but still not too bad. We then drove to Caversham Wildlife Park which was a few minutes away. We started at the Kangaroo area first. There were a bucket of kangaroo feeds that we could help ourselves to. As usual, A was apprehensive when we told him to feed the kangaroos, but he still tried when he saw me feeding the kangaroo. However, he only tried once, but still an improvement. He seemed to enjoy looking at the ducks instead. Next, we went to watch the farm show. They showcased sheep herding, sheep shearing, whipping and feeding of baby lambs. We quickly moved on to ... read more
