MONG CAI / DONG XIANG CROSSING Hello, I have just returned fro Vietnam and did cross over to China from Mong Cai and it was a facinating unusal experience.
Although language was a peoblem but we managed fairly easily and followed what others were doing!!!! It was fun on China side and traveled in little motor cycle type of transport with few people.
Good Luck to all
Prague Now then Emoby-know what you mean about Prague, although "pretty" it is a little too ornate for it's own good. Felt it lacked soul! Certainly not a culinary experience, but the beer(Urquell and Budvar) now that is the true "Amber Nectar."

where are the wedding pictures? I'm very happy for your european trip and for your old friends reunion, but it's possible to see also Vero and Stas in their wedding dress? Please? Go Sumo-Emma!
again I have to tell you guys a funny thing. Greg and I ordered pizza from pizza hot by our landline with your name Gill, because you registered. After we ordered the pizza, we realised that the voucher was expired "one year " at the same day (3/5/2007). However, the staff didn't check the voucher so we still got the discount. If they call us want to find you, we will tell them to call to China~~ha....ha...
p.s. I was so embarrassed to pick up pizza....>_<"

Red Red Wine ............. Hi Toby and Emma, Looks like you guys are having a great time and seeing a lit corner of local life while you go. I'll agree with Toby about the soup, having worked in a gut room I got a very good impression of what the aroma was like. Take care and enjoy.
Wine, Dance & Fun ..... Hey Toby/Emma,
Nice to hear that you guys are learning the language; I have to say, Chinese is the most difficult. A room for $22 a night; not heard of here ...... the blonde is rahter cute by the way ....
P.S: Emma - Chris Fisher left Thursday 24 April ..... another one gone. Cheers, Joe.
See you soon Hey Christian, glad you're enjoying the blogs - we'll see you on the Sweden trip for sure. We're popping into Germany after the wedding too, so we'd be keen to catch up over a pilsner then as well if you're around!
We left Australia on 17th January 2008, and headed to China (via south east Asia) to live and work.
In June/July 08 we spent 2 months travelling overland from western Europe back to Asia via the Trans-Siberian railway.
Now back in China for a while.....
