You cheapskate did you get caught leaving inter net cafe. How are the feet- we can't believe what you have achieved- all that treking and climbing. It does sound so amazing you are going to come back so fit!!!! We love the history- in fact we have recorded a programme where they travel in S America tonight it's Bolivia and Chile so we really looking forward to that and comparing the places you went to . Would you like another "meal sub" as you sound like you could do with it !!!!
Will put £30 into bank account tomorrow Tues. Have fun with it- we have to space them out for you !!!

Awesome creatures (other than Olie and Em) Wow! Another amazing stage in your adventures. Quito sounds fab but caiman well scary. What a wimp you are about spiders and bats Olie (Mum was laughing her head off until she saw photo of tarantula - pooed her pants!! Parcel from sh*ts at ppost office has arrived safe and sound and in storage in loft room awaiting your return. Glad you had a good nosh on us. Stay safe and enjoy everything. Blogs are amazing - you will have to write them up as book/tour guide when you get back - keep them coming. Love them, love you guys. All best, xxx.
Ace divers Well what can we say - a sport that Oliver Summers can't do!!! Seriously though sounds like you are still having great time. Love the look of Casa Sweety and your maud bath looks like great fun. Take care and continue to have a great time. Love you.
Great blog! Hi you two !! Rach here. Fantastic blog! It sounds like you have been having some typical Emma and Oli adventures!! Nice to see some of your photos along the way too!! Hope you continue to have a great time. I'm on school hols at the moment, Craig and I are off to Greece next week (not quite as exotic as you but looking forward to the sunshine) and then Germany the week after for Craig's uni mates wedding! So we are doing a tiny bit of travellling around too!hehe. The only vaguely interesting news here is Craig got promoted to Regional Manager two weeks ago and then this week Nick Miles resigned so Annabel has got his RM job! Shame you're not around for a promotion-related nght out - will save it for when you're back :D Keep having lots of fun and stay safe, Love Rach xxx
Hello! Hey! You sound like you're having such an amazing time - literally laughed out loud when I read the story about the tramp at your table - then read it to Nathan who also found it very amusing :o) Keep updating - love hearing about your travels. Love from sunny England....(actually is at the moment) xxx
Papaya! Who on earth would chose to eat Papaya?! Completely agree, vomit! Ignoring all vegi traits, I think I would even go for the fried ants over a plate of papaya.
Also, punching strangers in balls in not ok, Em. Really!
Emma vs Olie Love the posts! Sounds totally awesome... specially the 3 course dinner for £3.50. Yum.
Loving the fact that Emma describes everything and gives a really clear picture of what y0ou guys are seeing and experiencing vs Olie just pointing out Emma's 'derpyness' ... I'm now wondering what Emma did that was a little 'special' on the days that Em wrote about!
Brilliant read, looking forward to next installment!
Peace x x
Hola amigos I wondered how long it would be for the first blog. I did manage to get all the way through it (it wasn't that long Emma). Sounds like you guys are already having a great time. Did you manage to get any of the awesome BBQ or deli sandwiches in NY? Air con on the subway is ingenious, they really do have everything sorted over there. Its a shame that Bogota was cold and grotty. From the look of your photos it seems as if San Gil more than made up for that. The waterfall looked amazing (obviously not as amazing as Olie's manly physique). I am so jealous (not of his physique) but of the 5 months of adventures you guys are going to have. Keep up the blogging and keep the photos coming. Miss you guys, xxx

Tired of the daily choice between the 7:56 or the 8:01 train between Hitchin and Kings Cross, and inspired by previous travels to Asia, Australasia and Africa, Emma and myself have saved and scrimped (and boy do I mean scrimped) for the past year or so and are finally heading off to South America. After a brief suare around New York, we head for the gringo trail for 5 months, stopping for a month to impart our knowledge on some innocent and unsuspecting children in Posadas, Argentina. We will travel through Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, maybe Chile, Arg... full info
