So it’s goodbye to Staten Island. We say au revoir to Joan as we will see her again before we leave NYC, then after a Skype with R&J in Brighton, UK, we set off to Brooklyn and to meet Kaz, the owner of the Isabella (our B & B). He's a lovely chap, Polish but grew up in Tanzania (they have lots of African art in the house). His wife Joanna is a CE of a local Housing Homeless Charity and they import and sell African/Tanzanian sculptures & artifacts to raise money for the Charity to support their work. The house is a really big place in the Ditmas Park area of Brooklyn with beautiful wooden floors, big rooms, and tastefully furnished. They have a kitchen we can access for drinks etc and our two rooms
