tip Don't buy the official phone company cards, they're a ripoff, but get a VOICENET or something similar - you call on a special number and theen dial the number you wan't to call to... But public phones will be removed in a few years anyway, since they are unprofitable. Noone uses them.

No ex-soviet buildings and things in Finland Finland was under Russian rule during 1800 and declared its independence on 6. December in 1917. Finland has never any part of the Soviet Union, so therefore we do not have any ex-soviet stuff here. We have built all the ugly stuff ourselves!!
The "Soviet-inspired" churches might be orthodox, at least one in the pictures (Uspenski Cathedral with the golden globes).

We are now in Rovaniemi where Santa Claus lives!It´s a nice small town and today we are going to box santa claus ears because we didn´t got what we wanted last christmas!
We wanted to travel forward to Sweden but with the bad bus szstem it is verz bad. so we must stay here over night:-( Let´s try the nordic camping places!
It was nice to meet u in stockholm and in tallin again!
Have a nice travel through western europe and write an email when u arriving in vienna!

I'm currently living in Rio de Janeiro and will be here indefinitely teaching English.
