Eileen and I are middle aged tourists who like holiday swapping our beach apartment on Queensland, Australia's, Sunshine Coast for time in someone else's holiday accommodation, whether it be a B&B, a fishing shack by a lake, a canal barge in Europe, a lodge in an African game park, a yacht (I have off-shore Yachtmaster.), or a cabin in a vineyard. We have all of these listed on our website http://www.sosimpleholidayswaps.com by various people all around the world. We have recently started promoting people to join who conduct tours, whether by push-bike, camel, bus, or on foot.
The photo is of me helming the 65' sloop Spirit of Sydney south of Cape Horn on our way to Antarctica. Eileen and I have also sailed through the Greek Islands and along the Queensland coast. Apart from sailing we have travelled through Thailand, Japan, Goa, Indonesia including Bali, Malaysia, Egypt, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, USA, and visited Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand, and Singapore. We have travelled by 1100cc motorcycle from the Daintree River in North Queensland to the bottom of Tasmania.
In the near future we are particularly interested in spending some time (like maybe 6 months) on the European continent and UK, preferably by caravan and/or holiday accommodation swapping.
