Glad you Grandmas are having fun... I'm just surprised you didn't join in on any bridge! Bridge is a fun game! I think I'm with you guys in terms of old souls.. I remember one night in particular in mexico when everyone else was at the bar getting loaded and Tracy and I were playing giant chess. Fun times for all
What's the next stop?
Keep safe, ladies! Watch yourselves. I know you guys are smart but don't make pappa worry. Is it creepy if I call myself pappa?
Seriously though, keep with the crazy details... I kind of had the feeling you weren't crazy for the history, as I think I've heard more details about your servers than I have about the history.
score one for my profession!
Hey Girls!
I'm so sad to hear you're not absolutely falling in love with Rome, it's one of my favorite cities in the world! I guess it takes some getting used to the gypsies but they do leave you alone after a while. I've been there twice and still love it more each day. Oh well, different experiences. Pompeii is really creepy and cool.. what did you think of the overabundance of phallic symbols on every writable surface?!
Hope you have many more good stories before this adventure is over!
Continue having a Pun-derful trip Italy you what, where you may Rome, Amalfi ling you (I'm a feeling you... not good?) I hope you Salerno lot. Try to keep the focus off of your Naples. That probably wasn't Ve-nice of me to say...
I wonder what time it is.. I don't even know if Europe now!
You shoe situation post-spawned a song... Hi girls,
How goes it?
Hey Diana, I guess your whole shoe thing gives a new meaning to that Prince tune "Purple Rain" - huh?
Hope you're having a blast - lavender tootsies and all!
Have fun and see you soon.
S.
comfy shoes Hi girls. Diana, I'm not sure you know what real comfy travel shoes look like! Very funny. I still have my old pair of mephisto sandals.....ugly but comfy. Changing your itenerary is fine, can't see everything on the first visit. I am jeaulous about all the great food and coffee you must be tasting. I'm such a food girl. Take care.
I have nothing to say but you told me to continue commenting So here I am.. Sounds like you're having fun. Mozart, eh? Concert, eh? Vienna, eh? .... cool! How long did you bike for, I wonder. Funny, I never saw you as a bike-ridin' type, Diana. Lindsey, I can see.
we'll talk later, I'm sure.
I'm glad y'all are having fun!
So... were the hills ACTUALLY alive? Salzburg was pretty awesome, but I didn't go on the Sound of Music tour. I think my teacher was pretty upset, as she spent half of the bus ride there teaching me all of the lyrics so we could prance and sing together. I was worried she was going to Von Trapp me and take me there. Another weird quirk about the teacher is she would always want to play tag. Every time I saw her, the first thing she would say would be "Tag." Sometimes she would ask me for a good game of tag.
I loved Austria too. I hope you guys have a blast there. I'm glad you guys had a fun time in Salsburg.
OH, one more pressing question: How do you.... solve a problem like Maria? I mean, I even heard her singing in the abbey!
Keep on keepin on, ladies.
I'm so happy you found the "secret entrance" to the Louvre--keep that one on the lowdown. Hey, I guess if it's in your guidebook, it's already on the...uphigh? Oh dear. When you're in Salzburg, make sure to purchase one of those cheesy Mozart umbrellas. Also, I dare you to make it through a whole day without being informed, yet again, that it's his 250th birthday. Then ask, "Mozart? Who's Mozart? I don't think we have him in Canada." Happy travels!
I love your details Hey girls....Loving the blog. I like how you notice so many of the small details...can't wait to see the pics. One of my favorite stories was of Diana falling down the stairs after receiving a compliment from the French guy....so hilarious. I love how you girls are so NOT shy. Make sure to sing your hearts out on the Sound of Music bus tour!! That's all for now! Jolene
Did you go to the Disneyland based castle yet? I did. It's old news for me. That's ok, though. I'll act interested.
My article came out in Ed today and not only was my picture on the front page of Ed, but it was in the front page of the journal as well.. Albeit, in the top right corner.. but hey, still pretty good, right?
I was pretty excited, needless to say. It's been a big day for me and that's why I'm discussing that and not your crazy awesome europe trip.. please forgive me.
I hope all is well. Keep on truckin', my dear friend.
Hey Lindsey. I hope you're having fun, too! keep safe, the both of yuz.
So are the croissants there just amazing, or what? I'm glad you're having fun and not having your pocket picked. I'm there in my mind.... !
I really have nothing to say but your last sentence prompted me to comment..
Hope to hear from you soon!
JASON
PS... YOu should go see Xavier Rudd. He's touring throughout August and I can't see you not loving every minute of it. He's playing a show or two with Spearhead (also awesome). Check it out: www.xavierrudd.com
It is difficult, but you will succeed! It sounds like you're having a difficult but fun time. It sounds quite luscious, methinks. I'm glad you're having such an interesting time. and don't worry, Diana. there are no cockroaches in any of the rooms you'll be staying in. I hope Lindsey does not crush you in her sleep, and I hope your trip continues to go well.
Good day!
ouch The other day I hit my head on the underside of a low balcony in front of a group of gawking construction workers. Not quite as exciting or humorous, but that's the way we get by outside heaven and paris.
Enjoy the beauty, I'll bet you both blend in smashingly. Loves.
