Yes, we have been following the Canadian weather and its pushing everyone and everything to new limits across the country. Wise woman to have a hot tub backup plan for the possibly unaccessible ski slopes. I know you will enjoy your time regardless. Safe travels ??

Sorry for the late response Penthes. I just saw your comment today. Given that you have, and continue to, inspire me in so many ways, I am pleased to be able to return the favour. I have enjoyed immensely taking on this new journey, and even though learning Thai will without a doubt be the most unusual and challenging language I have ever studied, I also realize it is not the product, but the process, that is important, and the rewards show themselves every time I engage with a local person in their language, however simple my offering may be. When one day I am not able or interested in travelling, and if I have a reason for learning Arabic, as you do, I would not hesitate. There is no down side! Enjoy!
