Awesome! Loved your pictures. Yes, very Zen, very impressionistic. Then I noticed your condor finger puppet. I got one like it in Peru, bought it from some kids. Hi to BJ.
Will share your blog with the art teacher at Waupun High School. Their photography classes might get blown away from the perspective.
Bar picture Loved the pics. esp. the bar one. It reminds me of my wilder days at studio 54 in NYC. You had to have at least one or 2 gay friends with you to get in. THanks for sharing your trip. Aloha, Linda
halucinations This certainly looks like a magical place. Are you guys sure that this is all optical illusions and the coca leaves aren't effecting your bodies and brains so grow and shrink in you own minds and then photogragh so we catch you doing magic trips.
I don't believe any of this is real. It's that new camera Kyle bought that makes us think we are seeing ehat we are not seeing. Where can I get one?
Kyle and Eric have the wrong movie. I think you guys have the wrong movie. You guys don't look like outlaws in Butch and Sundance Kid.
It appears to me the movie you guys are in is Brokeback Mountain.
Get out the real pictures boys.
Is the "Intricate Carvings" Image @ TwitPic..? If not and you could upload it over there, I'd love to tweet it.. ABSOLUTELY Gorgeous..!
You all be safe.. :)
Do yourself a favour and get some ciprofloxacin antibiotics haha! Will get rid of those squits in 2 days flat. Amazing things.
Really enjoying your blog. Wishing I was back on the road! x
Enough! OK - Are you really on a death wish? I think your journey to South America could tame down a bit! I'm glad I did not know what you were doing. Hopefully, the rest of the trip will be more sane. (Yes, sometimes this mom will nag...)
Mark it zero I am getting plenty of video this time around. Unfortunately, all the videos from the past trips are on my computer back home. You could add the Video application to Facebook and upload them from my computer... but I canĀ“t to anything on this end till I get home.
Does the word bother you? It's odd being on this side of the blog, but I'm glad to see that Eric has picked up the edit routine... The rule with Kyle, Eric, is to not listen sometimes. Especially in the morning. Or if you happen to be in Rajasthan, India.
Kyle, I hope you're capturing plenty of video. Is there a way you can upload the videos from SE Asia, India, and Africa to the website or some other site that might support them?
Your roll, Walter.
Fantastic (capital G) Extremely impressed with your informative, creative, and entertaining blog dude. Rock on Eric's friend Kyle.
PS. Nice Half lotus Swami Eric...keep that "traditional method' going " )!
Peace to the Middle East... on the determined wings of hummingbirds and honey bees! ...?
Joie de vivre!
south america. i'd love to spend a couple years there. seems to me a perfect place to retire and surf. looking forward to seeing you again before you leave.
Welcome Home! Hey cousins...so glad you are both home safe and sound! I have enjoyed your travels so much...and have learned more about the countries you toured from you than from any textbook! Love to know where you are heading next Kyle! Any chance you'd like to see the St Louis area?!?!?! :)
I quit my cushy job in health care software in January of 2008 and hit the road with my younger brother Darren (the one on the left of the photo). We had plane tickets to South East Asia and not much of a plan beyond that. It turned into one of the best years of my life. And, as a result of this blog, I convinced many of my friends to leave their uninspiring jobs and travel as well!
I am now finishing medical school in the United States and starting residency shortly. Money is tight, becoming a MD has me pinned down, but I jump at every opportunity I can to get out on the road.... full info
